Which antivirus is better norton or mcaffe, or any other option you recommend?

I am using Panda, the paid version, and the free Ewido, which is supposed to protect our e-gold accounts. I checked with my computer mentor and he said that these two programs go well together. Ewido should protect against a virus called Goldun.exe if I remember the name right.

i think norton is better than mcafee, it notifies me every time when some one try to access or scan my ports.
