What's Your Motif this Christmas?

Every Christmas, my family have this huge Christmas tree standing at the corner of the living room heavy with red balls of different sizes, ribbons , angel figurines hanging and running lights of different colors. It was indeed a festive sight to behold and as a tradition, we gather around the christmas tree for a family picture. This Christmas, we want something different. But can't decide on what color would be best. I know that red is still a favorite and gold as well. However, we want this Christmas to be extra special as we have a new place to stay. Any suggestions? thanks in advance!
