I have rotten timing with questions like this. I'm never reading anything at the time the question is asked, because I've always already finished a book and haven't started the next one. So, I was reading The City of Ember by Jeanne DuPrau. But, since I finished it yesterday, it's more accurate to say I read it, past tense, rather than I'm currently reading it. I have two more new books to read, but I haven't started them yet. So I will in the future be reading Troy by Adele Geras and Runaway by Wendelin Vaan Draanen. But, right now, I'm not reading anything.

Frankly speaking, I have not been reading anything now. Though I have more than 200 books at home. I now online and online all day long. I used to read 1 book a day, but now I'm not. I just look for another experience. Perhaps one day I will be back to reading again. It will be literature book!

I finished the book I was reading, but may start reading the Danielle Steele novel that I threw under the bed a while back. Last night I just read a few excerpts of a technical sort of book that I have besied my bed.

My Sister's Keeper is a good book.. I'm currently reading "Dry: A Memoir" by Augusten Burroughs. I'm only about 70 pages in so far, but so far it's fantastic. I love reading!!

Right now I'm rereading and anthology of short stories by HP Lovecraft. His style is not the best, for sure, but I enjuy his creativity and his truly visionary approach to the reality and the writing.

I'm reading The Starry Rift, The Fire Within and Rift in the Sky... The first is a series of young people's short stories, the second is an even younger reader's book about dragons and the last is the 3rd of a trilogy by Julie E. Czerneda

I just finished Running Scared by Lisa Jackson. She is an awesome writer...I love mystery/suspense books. Lisa Gardner is another good one. All of her books are good to but I find it best to read her books in order.

I recently finished "Hood" by Stephen Lawhead, which I thought was a great book. I'm currently reading "Ranger's Apprentice: The Burning Bridge" by John Flanagan, but I'm only about 30 pages in. They've been a good 30 pages though. I really enjoyed the first book so I'm hoping the rest of the series will be just as good.

HI! I'm currently reading "The Empire of Darkness". It is the first book of a trilogy written by Christian Jacq. It is a true story based on the life and times of the Egyptian Queen Ahhotep. I love reading anything about ancient Egypt, true or fiction... I have read many other books by Jacq and really enjoy them. He is an excellent story teller and an expert in Egyptology. If you like reading/learning about ancient Egypt I highly recommend both the book and the author! You won't be dissappointed.
