Dear friend, If Rooney is there it would be nice to have him in the team, moreover Roy Keane needs to be there to keep it neat and fine. Still when the team arrives I feel the total team work is most needed for a final output. May be a better result.

Wouldn't Roy Keane know about all this? He was the kingpin of Man U when his contract was terminated, but Man U simply did not miss him!! Van Nistelrooy was clipped when he was scoring goals for fun and Man U did not suffer. And the list keeps going on and Man U seems to have moved on despite everything. The only thing now is how long Sir Alex is going to stay with Man U and how much is his hunger to re-build another side!! That to me is going to be the key for Man U. Cheers! Ram

i guess, MU desperately in need of a key striker to score goals. Absence of Cristiano Ronaldo has proved them much, losing the premier league title and also not reaching the finals of the champions league last season. If they are gonna skip Rooney and play with berbatov alone, it would definitely be the worse condition. It's Ok , if they sell Rooney, but what they have to do is to buy another top striker. Then it would not worse them much.

Football is a team sport, and a team will never depend on one person, everybody is replaceable and can be replaced. Manchester United was a good team before Rooney's arrival and will still be a good team after Rooney's departure. Maybe they will sign Benzema and Sneijder, and then they will be stronger than now. Sneijder needs no challenges on club level after having won everything at Inter, Benzema wants to prove Real that he is a very good striker and it is a big mistake that they haven't given them many chances to play and I think Rooney looks after a new challenge himself. So I think this is what is going to happen: Rooney will leave, Sneijder and Benzema will come and Manchester is not going to lose on its quality. So I agree totally with Keane, who says that Manchester is not depending on one person.

ya, football is not individual sports..i always know it because i always play football.. but dont forgot, sometimes a person can change the situation of playing.. with a star, other friends motivated to win or sometimes lost if their stars play bad..
