What a Situation!

Hmmmm...while mylotting i heard my neighbor who is about 70 years old shouting at someone. i was worried because she is hypertensive. now i went to check what was going on. oh, well, she was hysterical because my niece - a kid, was playing with the trunk of the tree by slapping it with a stick or something. now the trunk of the tree had several spots and was peeled off. she got angry because the tree didnt do anything to the kid, why the hell would the kid hurt the tree?
hmmmm...she is right about it but the kid is still a kid she needs not be hysterical. i think she is overreacting but i cant blame her, too, because she's old and easily get mad.

You're right. A kid is still a kid and an old lady will always be an old lady. You can't just tell if her reaction is right or wrong. Everyone has a different opinion about trees, especially those that are thinking green.

What a match up, a 70 year old woman and a kid. The other is suffering of losing her memory and the other one is just on the process of knowing things here in earth.. Haha.. What a great match up, really!
Anyway, that's what happens when a too old person and a such young kid meet.

Hi Hushi,
I understand the woman's point of view but the way she handled it was way over the top ridiculous. Their is no need to shout at a little kid like that. She could have gone out and talked to your niece and explained why it isn't good to hurt trees. She could have done it in a more respectful and civil manner. I would have been furious for someone yelling at my child like that.

You did not tell us whether the tree was at her house or in yours. Anyway, I suppose both sides have their reasons although it will do the old lady harm to shout so much.
Now that you know how she feels about the tree, you´d better keep your niece away from it. How old is your nice? You didn´t tell us that either. It´s not the same if she was 4 than if she was 10.

your neighbour shouldn't shout like that. From the side of health, she could hurt herself and from the side of the kid, well, you shouldn't shout to kids like that.
It's true what he did was wrong, but he's still a kid and he didn't understand at all.
