Well, honey, there's no limit to how much a person can dream. If you can't afford to travel now then make it as a motivation for you to study hard and save a lot of money so that you'll be able to do it someday. As of now, I think you have to settle with discovering interesting things in your hometown. Sometimes we think so much of other countries that we neglect the beauty our own hometown can offer. If this doesn't satisfy you, you can always dream and imagine traveling around the world. Good luck!

Yes, it is expensive to travel around the world, but you can always find deals that make it cheaper. You can also save up, so your not depended on your parents. Or you can ask people to give you money for your birthday and holidays.

I know that booking an around the world ticket now these days would be very be very expensive indeed. The airfare might cost between £900 and £2400 depending on the route. Then the airport tax would be added and that could be as much as £500 depending on the stopovers. Accommodation could be a dorm in a backpackers hostel. I was able to to travel around the world when I was 20 years old. I let out my cottage so I could get a monthly income. I also managed to get a working holiday visa for Australia. I bought my around the world ticket for about £1000. My route was London-Los Angeles-Hawaii-Fiji-Sydney-Adelaide-Cairns-Darwin-Singapore-London. I did a side trip as well over to Indonesia and Malaysia. I stayed in youth hostels and did some work in Australia. I worked as a children's nanny, a factory packer and a charity collector. When I was 29 years old I left one teaching contract and then flew off to New Zealand for just £800. I stopped off at Los Angeles, French Polynesia and the Cook Islands on the way there. Then on my way back I stopped off at Samoa and then Los Angeles another time. I stayed in backpacker hostels and did some camping in a tent. I got back home quite poor and got a part time job in a shop. As soon as September came round I got another teaching job.

It doesn't make any difference if your a student or a full time white collar CEO to travel around the world is expensive any way you look at it what makes it not expensive is class of people who can affored it financially. If your a Bill Gates or an Oprah Winfrey then you can most likey afford it but that doesn't mean its not expensive just means they have the money to do it

Hi ajjmalicayD, I've seen lots of students backpacking in twos or threes. That would share the cost down. Would be great to travel around like that. But I'm not sure if you could work.

yes definitely it is expensive to travel around the world. Even those people who are working have trouble including trips in their expenses. But people can always save some money if they wish to travel somewhere especially out of the country. Well, planning and saving have to be in our thoughts if we dream about traveling to places we have never been to spend a holiday in that places.

Yes, when you are a student it is hard to be able to afford it. But don't worry, I am sure you will have more money at some point in the future, and then you will be able to travel more, too!
