How do you get tan?

I love tanning. I live in Florida for 4 years and laid out by the pool every day (if I was able to).If you notice in my picture, I am a deep olive color. But when winter comes I do fade a bit and like to keep my tan. I never had a problem with that in the winter when living in Florida. I now live a little north of Florida in Georgia. Although winters here aren't really winters like up north in the tri-state (where I am originally from), they do get to a fall type weather season at which you can't tan by the pool like in Florida. I've never used a tanning bed or sprays. Was thinking of using a UV-stand up tanning bed when I start to fade a little. Not sure of the risk or how often I should go, but i will be looking into it since I do like to stay tan. How do you stay tan in the winter? Do you like to be tan or are you content with being pale or just natural?

Where I stay, there is no season. So, anytime of the year, I am able to get a tan except maybe from late November to early February where it is usually the rainy season.

Good for you. That is kind of how it is here in Georgia. Between November and February we have a fall. Where leaves drop and it can get chilly at night. So I am just looking for my options of what to do during that time. Thanks for responding!

I'm not really fussed about being tanned, although my face and arms tend to get tanned very easily naturally by sunlight. I always come back of the holiday with quite a nice tan but otherwise I only get it if the sun shines here for multiple days. :P
