Who likes politicians?

Me, I don't like them at all- but there are some that are good. But I think the majority of them is just made up of bad and greedy people.
What do you think about politicians?
if only there are more good politicians then our country would be better and not so down. I think the people are also at fault though, since the people vote for them.
As election in our country is about to happen again, many politicians show their concern for the people- making big promises and helping the poor, just because of election. They bribe the people with money and tickets to some stuff.
Why do they want to win so much? Is power and money that great? i hope they would just give the positions to the people who would really like to serve the people and make a difference...

It is actually very difficult to like a politician .... In our country (India).. criminal records is the qualification that is required to become a politician ...
Kidding ..but it is very hard to find just one without those backgrounds .....

hey..I was a bit shocked with the criminal records thing and I even read it twice to see if i've read wrong.. 
most of our politicians here have a clean record though, but I think some of them are hiding some skeletons in their closet..[deep dark secrets]

i don't really like them a lot too; but of course there are some good politicians, but you can only count them with your fingers. [just kidding]
I don't really know what to think of them- they are portrayed badly in television,movies and other stuff though.
