I love sitting around watching old shows such as MASH, I dream of Jeannie, I Love Lucy, etc etc etc. What are your favorite old television shows? Do they remind you of your childhood?

Now that you asked, memories of the shows of those times come back to my mind. I used to watch the shows of the very popular singers. One of the shows I watched and enjoyed often was "Perry Como" show. He is very much one of my favorite singers.

Practically all of stars had their own "....Hour" in the 70's. Started off with the Sonny and Cher Show and then literally flooded the air waves with a variety show hosted by every celebrity out there. Flip Wilson was hilarious.."the devil made me do it"...Glen Campbell, you name it...they had a variety hour! They were fun tho, to see other celebrities doing other than what they do and quite enjoyable.
Today's celeb's wouldn't lower their self-righteous, arrogant selves to do something like that.

I was a fan of the old Adam West Batman shows and the George Reeves Superman shows respectively. I really wish the old school Batman show would come out on DVD. I remember being introduced to the reruns on I believe FX and while the show is pretty campy by today's standards, it is pretty good for what it is. Still a big fan of the super hero genre and those shows have a place in my heart. Also, the Hulk was another one.
Also, as we go into the Halloween season, big fan of the Munsters. Just a classic show that never gets old no matter how often that I watch it. I really would like to sit down and watch it again however, because it has been years. Still there are a lot of old television shows, far too many. They really do not make them like they used to in many ways. Granted, it was a different time, but given a choice between the classics and what passes for television these days, I would take the classics more often than not.

Uh, don't mind the dust..The 'old' shows I recall..The first was a short lived comedy thing called 'Its About Time' with Joe E. Lewis and Imogene Coco, 'Car 54 Where Are You?' is another. Buck Rogers, Beanie and Cecil, The Lone Ranger, Flipper and Sea Hunt. There's many more and yes they do..Childhood in black & white.
Enjoy!

if i could watch old television shows, there's be plenty i'd like to watch. though most of them are local shows, some are local cartoons. I like so much tom and jerry also. Some of the local shows are "going bananas". This is like a comedy sitcom, they make jokes and mini funny skits.
