Where is Izzy?

She left after the first couple of episodes last year. She and Karev are now divorced and he has moved on. She went to work at another hospital. I really doubt there is any chance of her coming back.

I'm not sure what happened to Izzy because I stopped watching the show when I learned that Katherine Heigl is leaving the show. Initially, I think Shonda intended to kill off her character. Katherine's been wanting to get out of Grey's to pursue her movie career, or so I've heard.

She left in season 6. She and Alex got into it when she got fired while she was in remission, then a few episodes later she came back, but Alex had given up and decided he was done, so she left again. And honestly I don't like Alex anymore, he has turned into a jerk (well he always was a jerk, but he is worse).

What is this all about??
