Paranoia-aid endorsed by Glenn "Progressive Hunter" Beck, proud tin foil hat wearing Alex Jones, and the favorite beverage of some mylotters.
Apparently the Wal-Mart stores in Oklahoma and my state of Arkansas got themselves a big shipment of the new and improved Paranoia-aid. Here we got Oklahoma who wants to constitutionally ban it's judges from using Sharia law to base their decisions on cases. That's why we have separation of church and state and secular law but of course some oppose that concept. Do you see what I am getting at? Even though I am not aware of one such court decision in Oklahoma that a judge used Sharia law or for anywhere else in America, they are afraid that this might just happen.

Then we cross the board to Arkansas where some are afraid that hunting could become illegal that they want to making hunting a state constitutional protected right. Yeah we are talking about a state where every politician who is running for office except in the few urban areas of this state campaign wearing camo and carrying some kind of firearm. A state where the hook and bullet voting block is the most prized vote you can get is the state that is concern that hunting could become illegal?

Republican State Rep. Rex Duncan, calls the proposed ban a necessary "preemptive strike" against Islamic law coming to the state.

So at worst, these are simply redundant laws. That's not uncommon in the slightest and the primary purpose for some redundant laws is to demonize those that oppose them for their redundancy. Do you remember the "Republicans for Rape" crap the democrats were screaming about? It was utter garbage over a meaningless and redundant amendment saying rape charges can't be subject to arbitration agreements with Haliburton despite the fact that a court had already ruled on that issue.
Now as pointless as the first one may sound, it's already happened in New Jersey with a woman who was repeatedly raped and tortured by her husband and a judge allowed it because the husband's Imam said it was allowed according to Islamic law.
The one in Arkansas is a bit different in that it's not at all uncommon for liberals to make laws that violate the second amendment. Even now we have 4 justices on the supreme court who refuse to uphold the 2nd amendment so I see nothing wrong with this law despite its apparent redundancy.

The non-issue paranoia.
This is why nothing gets done for the people of the US. We have representatives drumming up interest for things that will never happen and no one is talking about real issues.
My favorite example was the passing of the do "no call act" by congress a few years back and we were starting a war in Iraq. Hard to have real converstations when we have folks promoting hate and fear as American.
