Have you see the latest news article, and how they demonstrate the seating arrangement at those ultra cheap airline? It seems not comfortable at all to have those seat, but the price just really cheap for travelling within domestic. One of those cheap air ticket pioneer will be Ryanair originated from Europe, they offer those $30 to $50 tickets. But the catch is, you have to sit at one of those standing - seat for domestic flight. So, I just wonder how many of you will go for it?

If the planes travel at supersonic speeds, I might consider flying in one of those... :D The only question here, other budget airlines have tickets below USD30 but they offer normal seats so how come introduce it now?

I think that having standing passengers on a plane is the most silly idea ever in the travel industry. It sounds dangerous to overload a plane full of people. When a plane takes off it goes up at an angle which might make people fall over. On planes at the moment passengers sit in their seats with their seatbelt on during take off and landing. It isn't pleasant to stand on a bus from Manchester to London so on a plane it would be even worse and far less comfortable. I have traveled on Ryan Air and Easy Jet but in the past but I like quality airlines these days. These budget airlines seem to be getting very silly ideas like standing and just as bad paying to use to toilet on board.

eheheh..in reality i experienced to fly on ryanair company so it is true that the service was poor but also the price was really low so i did not expect nothing ..the seats were normal in that fly eheh.. I thik that if the price would be really cheaper and you should fly for 1 hour or something more..i think i will accept to fly even like that..surely it would be impossible if your fly should be about 3 or more hours...

I've read a little about those seats too, and I definitely wouldn't want to travel like that (unless it was a really, really short flight... less than 30 minutes or so, which is not really possible). I don't know, they just seem really, really uncomfortable! I'd rather sit on the floor instead :P
