What's a good hair product to get a spiky hair?

There are so many hair products like gel, wax, clay, gum, mousse, etc. you name it. I just want to know what's the best product to use if you want a shiny and spiky hair. I like this Garnier Milk Fructis for hair cause you can style after washing your hair but ones your hair is dry, the spike gets limp. Then I try this clay but it's not shiny at all. Any suggestions? Thanks!

In my experience, the best thing that you can use for your hair so that it will stay both shiny and spiked if that is the way that you want it, you should use gel, and a lot of it. That is what I used on my hair when it was short and I always had the effect that I wanted to have with my hair. There wasn't one specific brand that I felt like worked the best for me, it was just any gel and it always worked out as I hoped, in this case, more expensive didn't mean better.
