Warning: This discussion might be smelly A lot of us work in offices spend most of our waking hours there. Of course, we sometimes feel the need of getting rid of what we digest. Some offices' restrooms are like public toilets with multiple stalls. I don't know about you, but I just cant make my poopies come out if I know that there are other people inside the restroom. I'm scared that it might make a sound or smell so bad, it would force people out. Do you feel embarassed about this too? I wonder who among mylotters have the guts to fill up a form about their dicomfort and put it in the company suggestion box.

Funky sweetie. Luckily i do not have to worry about offices and whatnot as i work from home. Just take a bag of earplugs with. When you feel you really need to go, give everyone their a pair and ask them kindly to excuse you for a while. Get a can of air freshener as well. That ought to help. TATA.

ddaguno why on earth feel scared? The idea of a toilet is to let go your body wastes and get comfortable. Surely you do not hold it 'in til you get home? That will make you really ill. No I am not embarrassed as I spent half a lifetime working in a hospital where you see all, smell all, and hear all. Pooping is a necessary thing we all do and the others in the other stalls are not going to go around sniffing the air for the smelliest poop.Be sensible.Sure we make sounds as we are all humans, Humans do eat, defecate, make love and do all sorts of smelly noisy things, and so what? I sure would not worry about the others hearing or smelling anything as they sit in their stalls and make noises and stinks too.Holding things in can lead to intestinal illnesses that are painful and really unnecessary.,

Hi ddaguno, I work in a store with one restroom for the public and us workers. The very worst of all is when I run in to pee and it smells horrible and I come out and someone is waiting who probably thinks I'm the one that smelled it up. I know that a restroom is for that purpose so I expect it and I don't care what others do in there but personally unless I am having a problem, I prefer to do that stuff at home. Like another poster suggested, airfresheners do help to a point but only to a point. Its not much different than slamming perfume on a person that hasn't showered in days. pretty much the same thing..
