Can anyone help me what are the possible writing gigs available online? Those that are legit and pays well.

Writing has been my hobby since my high school years. I enjoy writing articles, short stories, reviews, etc. If you like writing brief reviews on a variety of topics, you might want to take a look at "Review Stream". I have been writing there and have been paid regularly.

A lot of people like the Freelancer site and there are some similar sites as well, such as Odesk I think.
Personally, I think Webmaster forums are great places to get writing gigs, since many webmasters are constantly looking for content. So I recommend those!

I tried a lot of writing gigs online but these days, rate has becoming smaller and smaller. It's one in a thousand to get paid with the right amount.
But you can always try all those freelance sites and craiglist has almost everything. Problogger is cool also.
