Dark Water

I saw the 2005 movie Dark Water on TV on the weekend. It stars Jennifer Connelly and is a horror movie. It is very well made and very disturbing. I won't give too much away. But I can't keep from saying that it does not have a happy ending. Anyone else seen it? Opinions?
