I was loading my phone once in a while. Until I am receiving continuous reward points from Globe. But I was a bit disappointed why my reward points decreases. I mean I am expecting that every time I load computation or the equivalent rebate I must get is 11%. But what I get is only 5%.
I called Globe Customer Care. The bad news is that 11% is no longer available. The Globe rewards points was changed to 5% as of October 8, 2010.
I hate that! That's unfair to the old user who has the privilege to consume the 11%.
The rule was 6 months above has the privilege to receive 11% rebate from the load they are using and 5% to all new user of globe.
Now all rebate are equivalent to 5%. The difference is really big.

That is too bad!! boo, sorry but they should even increase than decrease the percentage since there are a lot of globe subscribers and that people are loyal to them and they cant even give the 11%? sucks!! give to the people what they deserve. what is 11% anyway to the earnings people are giving them?

I don't think this is a big deal. We don't have this reward system before, we should be happy we still receive 5% rebate.
If you changed to Globe just to take advantage of this reward system, then I understand why you're disappointed. But for people like me who use Globe for years and years, it doesn't that much to us. We are glad to receive something, but it wasn't our deciding factor when we decided to use this network provider. And we'll still continue to use it even long after the rewards are gone.
I don't think it's fair to complain when we are given a reward. It's a gift, a freebie. Just be thankful.

It seems that companies that do this feel they will save and earn more, while all they are really doing is steering customers away. With so much competition these days you would think companies would remain the same, instead they make these quick changes and in the long run they lose out much more.

When I heard about this globe promo I decided to change my server but now that I am hearing a lot of disappointing post about this, I'm having a second thought of changing my plan!
