When i was still in college, i did not join any fraternity or sorority. I don't like it because of the hazing procedures and initiation. I believe that you can join any group or friends without having to undergo these initiation rites. However, i do join an organization involved with voluntary works/outreach programs where we go to depressed areas helping the people in the area to put up cooperatives. We also do some home visitation, praying and sharing. What about you? where you involve in any organization or fraternity?

Here our country, fraternity isn't really considered as those academic and curricular activities unlike in other emerging nations such as the US and Canada. In fact, it's pretty much dangerous and parents would do their best to prevent their kids from joining such "gangs" or "associations". I don't think we have to join such groups either to be able to get along with other groups and gain some "friends". And no-- I am not associated to any sorority (i am a girl) I am currently in a social outreach program held in our school in accordance to helping out the needy people in unfortunate cases and places here in the country. In the mean time, I am also currently assigned to be one of those people to help out those children in calamities of no hands, no legs, no limbs, damage in the brain and so many. :( Hope this counts! -Jaja

I nearly got involved in one- then I got drunk and that was the end of it. I did join voluntary organisations and it was the best thing in my entire life.
