The Real No Fun League!

The NBA starts its new season tonight and I could care less! I became a fan of the NBA over 30 years ago and the NBA has changed so much! I used to love to watch NBA games but not anymore! I lost my passion for the game! It is not the same anymore! So much has changed! It is not fun anymore! It was fun when there players in the league like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar,Magic Johnson,Dr.J and Larry Bird. It was still fun when the Sacremento Kings had Vlade Divac,Chris Webber,Mike BIbby,Doug Christie and Peja Stojakovic! Not anymore! Now we have selfish and arrogant players that demand respect when they should be earning it! We have players like Kobe Bryant,LeBron James,Carmelo Anthony,Kevin Garrett and Tracy McGrady! All they care about is the money and winning tons of NBA championships! They took the fun out of the game! With the competition to get to the top,the teams who have the money and in the higher of the market gets the players they need and want! WHile low market teams, like the Milwaukee Bucks, are constantly rebuiding because they don't have the money to go after players like LeBon James!We can't compete with the Lakers and the Celtics! It is insane! Until things start being like the old days, I am avoiding the NBA! The no fun league!

The NBA has not changed. It has always been a business. If GM's can cut off a player because they think he is not beneficial to the team, I don't see why players can run off to a better team if they see opportunity to prosper or win championships. It's all part of the game! Wilt teamed up with Jerry West and Elgin Baylor. Rodman switched teams to help Jordan and Pippen win championships. Life is never fair. You can't scatter the talent equally on every team, that's impossible to do, it has never been done, and it never will happen. You even pointed out a supernova of a team in Sacramento the year they fought the Lakers for the conference finals. Was it fun even if the Vancouver Grizzlies were a total unknown and didn't have a marquee player who could sell a jersey? Dude! Wake Up! This is Reality! The world is not perfect! If you want a perfect league, go play some video game and create you're own perfect league.

I know Life is not perfect! Give me a break! I am venting and yes the NBA is different now! It is a no Fun League for me! I have been a fan for over 30 years! I should know! It will take alot to get me to love the NBA again!

LeBon James went to the heat to win a championship. it wasn't all about the money for him. you got to remember the heat have dwyane wad who is a great player already and also chris bosh was traded this season to the heat who's a really good player and also went to win a championship.

I know LeBron went to the Heat to win an NBA Championship. I still don't like him and never will! He came right out of high school to the pros. He is rich and far as I know,doesn't do anything charity wise! He is also arrogant and it pisses me off my team will never get players on their team like LeBron! Enough said!

The fun is when the players seek for a title and when those arrogant players get beaten. The only player that demands respect, in my point of view, is kobe bryant. He should be beaten down into a pulp, i mean in a game. :)

In a game I dream of that all the time! Now I also dream it will happen to LeBron James! I know he only became a memeber of ther Miami Heat because he wants an a championship! He might not get it! We will see! I also think the NBA will be a NO FUN LEAGUE for a very long time!

Oh I remember that Sacramento Kings' run! I was also still a fan back then. And I remember how disappointed I was when they lost to the Lakers.
Yep, the NBA is no fun anymore. I think the only story of interest this season is how a lot of people will like, and how a lot of people will hate the Miami Heat! But what about the other teams?

I will never forget the Kings losing to the Lakers! What a hearbreaker that was! Yikes!
Now all we hear is about Kobe and the Lakers and the Miami Heat! You know LeBron wants an NBA Championship so bad he became a memeber of the Miami Heat! If they don't win one we will never hear the end of it! You are right we don't hear about any other team and that is sad! The NBA is so the NO FUN LEAGUE!

I don't see any remarkable difference between Kobe and Jordan .Neither between present and old-time .There is no denying that nowadays more players are invovled in business .But i think it is the tide .You can't complain about that .

There is a difference between Jordan and Kobe! Kobe has gottan in trouble with the law. Kobe is selfish and very arrogant! Jordan has been never like that! Jordan never had teammate issues like Kobe has! Rememebr the thing between Shaq and Kobe? Kobe has a swelled head that just gets bigger and bigger! Mj was never like this! As you can see there is differences between them! The only thing that is the same is their Coach has been Phil Jackson.
