Talk about something that was embarrassing. Yet, it is something that is accidentally done from time to time, especially when its at a new school that I don't know my way around. Like in my Freshman year in high school. Have you ever accidentally entered the wrong classroom at school for whatever reason?

Yeah it is really bad. Although not as bad when you are first starting out as it might been when you really should know better. But still rather bad. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I personally know the embarrassment of walking into the wrong classroom. It was a new high school for me. somehow I got turned around in the hallway. i walked into the classroom and sat down. When things didn't look familiar, i knew i had made a mistake. Unfortunately, everyone else in the class knew it too. It was such a long walk out of that classroom.

I can just imagine how time must have slowed down. Especially when the mistake slowly dawns on you and the horror slowly creeps towards you. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

funny! i can totally relate to this. what's more embarrassing is the fact that it isn't the first day of class and i've been in that school for a couple of yrs already. it happened in college. i remember walking fast to get to my class cause i only had 5minutes left before it would start. so i hurried to get inside the room. what's worst is for that particular room, the door is behind the teacher so when you enter, all the students are facing you, and the seats are like that of an amphitheater where the next row is higher than the one before so everybody could really see you. as i entered, the class was already starting so i hurried to find a seat at the last row. i wondered why they have already started when i still had a couple of minutes left. while i was walking up towards my seat, i could feel people looking at me. when i finally sat, i realized the class wasn't just starting, it has been on for quite a while. which was not likely. i couldn't possibly be late. while i got settled in my seat, i looked around and realized i didn't know anybody.. then it dawned on me that our rooms were actually switched! how embarrassing! it was either i stay there and pretend that i do go to that class to prevent further damage, which i later realized will not work since everybody knew each other in a class. so they'd surely know that i didn't belong to that one and i'd look even more stupid (cause it would seem that i never realized that i wasn't supposed to be there); or my other option was to leave and walk all the way across the classroom (since i wast at the last row) and go to my real class. either way, i was doomed for humiliation... so i took a deep breath, stood up and walked straight out of the room looking down and not making any eye-contact with anybody. i remember thinking, how stupid i was and thought i'd just pretend it never happened. although i was pretty sure after i left the room, they'd talk about it cause i walked passed the teacher (who by the way knew i'm not under her). talk about humiliation..... plus, i was late for my actual class... :/ that was horrible at that moment but after that, i find it really funny.. :) so cheers to the honest mistakes we make! ^__^

Hi Megamatt, Well, as a student for that to happen is not something unexpected. But consider this - I as a Trainer went in the wrong class and took the lecture for about 35 minutes and then realized that I was in the wrong place! I was quite embarrassed but then was later informed that it was because of a mis-communication from that college. I still remember the faces of many students who had no idea about what they were listening to or learning about. It was their first class and I was on an arrangement there based on the absence of their regular Trainer. But my class was supposed to be in the room opposite. The other trainer who went into the other class too faced a similar situation... Today, I sit back and have a laugh at that whole thing but that day, I was really furious at the Lady who was in charge of assignments. How impolite of me. But then, these things do make life more interesting. Cheers, theSids.

I agree, that does seem much worse. I can just imagine how baffled the students in question much have been. Then again, when its the school's fault, then there is a reason. Still has to be considered embarrassing. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Thanks for appreciating my response megamatt. We - both the involved trainers - were of course embarrassed and the situation was more confusing for the students. But as I said, it was momentary and now we both have a good laugh at that day. A lesson learned was that we should familiarize ourselves with the environment and get things right before we start delivering. Cheers, theSids.

Yes, I've been in that situation. Just thinking about it makes me a little embarrassed. It was my second year of middle school and I had my new schedule but I read the room number wrong and ended in a different class. I didn't even know I was in the wrong class and just sat down for ten minutes before I realize that it was a different class level. I had to rush out of that class and find my right one. But it's fine, everyone makes mistakes...at least that's what I tell myself.
