What cartoon do you like to have a live action remake?

Remakes... Remakes and remakes.. Hollywood is now full with remakes. There are lots and lots of franchises from the previous ones which are brought to the silver-screen for the new generations. Some are magnificently done, others are just okay.. while others failed miserably.. and others worst.... The retro cartoons, especially the 80's era gave us more cartoons to brag about. And needless to say, they are more fun and entertaining than on todays type of cartoons. A certain point, thats what I feel and believe. While there is a long lists of cartoons that 80's can brag about, there are some deserving cartoons that would make it awesome on silver-screen. Nowadays, superhero movies are so click that every actor wants a piece of it to be casted or involved. Many are auditioning for some productions already on the line. And the thing is I cant imagine why producers would hire actors played already a different superhero title... Well, for me, these cartoons of the 80's era deserves their curtain rise on the silver-screen... I think they will be wonderful to watch at live action movie... ThunderCats, He-Man, Centurions, Visionaries (Knights of the magical lights) Oh man... these cartoons will be wonderful to watch at the big silver-screen... with todays advancement in film-making, visual effects and computerization, these cartoons will be amazing to be made. I hope somebody from the movie production lines are actually thinking some of this... or yet... ALL of these... hehehehe... The more the better. If it will be neatly and creatively done.. It will be a start of a new trend in filming and box-office smashing... aside from today's superhero movies. How about you? do you have something of the 80's cartoon you like to watch at silver screen? Any idea if your favorite cartoon will make it good once brought to the silver-screen?

Cartoons are so enjoyable in their animated form. i wouldn't mind seeing a live remake of the tom and jerry cartoons. i think that it would be quite entertaining.

Hi sender621, Hahaha... wow.. that would be cool. It will be really interesting to see Tom and Jerry do their antics and chasing in the big screen. Will give us tons of laugh. Though, I think the rating will take to PG (Parental Guidance) because this movie involves so much throwing and at worst explosion! But really... that would be a cool movie adaptation

I grow up with the Charles M. Schultz's Peanuts Gang, where Woodstuck, Charlie Brown and most loved Snoopy comic and posters. I'm not pretty sure if there's a movie already since none I can recall of, I do love this when I was a kid, I still find them cute and I say, its still my favorite. And also I want to see in the big screen like Archie comics, perhaps its even better if these would be remaked in a 3D or a real person character. I also loved those Superheroes that you mentioned including ThuderCats, He-Mans, Voltes V and a lot more. Yes, the 80s comic really ROCKS !

Hi torchablazed... Cool... Oh..I love also Snoopy and the gang. Archie in big screen..yes, it is really fun to see Archie and JugHead do their stuff on the silver-screen. Hope a movie will be made out of this. Those trade paperbacks then I also used to read as past time.. And if you also knew that funny Viking guy... Its a good comic. Well, there goes our the days of good old solid cartoons... Hope to see more adaptation of their material in big screen since it is more likely a good source of idea. And it brings again the child in everyone of us. Have a nice day!
