Carrots anyone?

I am pretty sure that everyone here likes a snack during the day either at work at home or school. Just curious to know if anyone else has a craving for baby carrots like myself? Plain and simple with no dressing or dips of course, or else it kinda defeats the purpose of a healthy lifestyle.

One interesting thing about carrots: to absorb more of the beta-carotene they should be lightly cooked. Unfortuneately if it is cooked with water water-soluable vitamins like vitamin C gets washed away.

I just found this article today: http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=raw-veggies-are-healthier It gives the information about which vegetables are more nutritious cooked than raw. For carrots it advises to have raw carrots sometimes, and have cooked carrots other times.

I'm not really much of a healthy living person...the usual snacks that I turn to would be like, ready to eat stuff...like noodles. I'm not that much into vegetables, I only eat them if they're in a salad.

The main thing is you eat them, who cares how I won't lie a bowl of chips and a dip would be right about now.

Yeah I love to eat carrots specially the crispy ones. I want it cold straight from the ref and i just rinse it and bite it. I don't really eat junk foods or chips and all that but I'm into veggies and carrots are one of my favorites. But I'm not that conscious so I like it also together with other veggies and dip it in any salad dressings. Wow! I'm getting hungry...LOL!

If you can't afford to buy them maybe try and plant some yourself in your garden. It will be like a project for you and the better the carrot the better your health. Good luck with the online income!

I'm also craving for such little orange veggies :D Just recently, my aunt drop by some carrot shake and I decided to taste some. It was stored in the refrigerator so when I opened the fridge, it was the first thing I caught site of. Of course, I didn't know what it was then since I never knew my aunt came, in the first place... Anyways, I thought it was just some sort of awkwardly colored juice so I took a sip. And darn what is so...... I wouldn't describe the taste :D Soon, I got used to it. It was actually kinda tasty once you've gotten used to the taste and soon, you'll be addicted :D Other than that, I hope this counts. -Jaja P.S. Carrot juice are best when served cool and chilled.
