Last night I had a party booze and I drank more than enough alcohol during the party. After I got home feeling really drunk I just dozed off to bed. When I woke up, I feel really worse because my head really aches and I want to vomit but really not able to. I drank lots of ice cold water instead of a coffee. Just prepared soup for myself and just ate that. I am really having a bad time after a night of good time. What do you do guys if you have a hang over?

There's 2 things things you need to do: First, drink a lot of water preferably cold (throughout the day). Second, take a rest for a while - sleep. Most of the time people disregards the effect of "hang-over". There are many hospital reports about people getting dehydrated the morning after getting drunk. That's why we need to drink a lot of water the day after getting drunk to avoid this. In most cases also person who got drunk doesn't feel hungry when they still have "hang-over" because of the headache and tummy problem. So it is best recommended to sleep first rather than eating, 'coz sometimes people vomit after eating and will just add up on getting dehydrated. Drink a lot of water then sleep for a while until the headache is gone. When you fell better that's when it is recommended to eat, eat a lot as well.

Well the first thing I say in the morning is 'Never again!' haha As long as I am in reasonable control the night before I find that if I take two asprin with lots of water before bed then it helps the next morning. Also, I don't seem to get as drunk on whisky as I do on other spirits. But if I have too much port at the end of the meal it really kills me even though I love it sooooo much!

Yes I have actually said that. I will never do it again! But then it is really fun to be with my friends while being sober. I will just have to let myself not drunk anymore. Thank you for the nice response.

I remember when it happened to my male siblings. They took a cold bad early in the morning. Have a cup of sugarless black coffee. After taking that then back to sleep again for some hours. When they woke up, iced water would do the last part to get back them back to normal state. Hope you could find best way through suggested strategy here.

I usually will sleep all day when I have hangover because I really can't do anything at all. That is why whenever I'm thinking to have a party and get drunk, I will make sure I'm not working the next day so I can just stay on bed for the whole day. I also would eat a spicy and sour instant noodles because that is the only one that can boost my appetite when I'm feeling hungry. And apart from drinking a lot of water too, I do nothing else as I said I can stay in bed all day.

we have the same experience! I feel like I'm sick although I'm really not and I didn't know that what I was experiencing is a hang over so I don't do anything but lie on bed.:)
