Some say face book is not god for us. Maybe because it shows your personal info or some sort? Whats your idea about this?

I think facebook is a great way to connect with people from your past or that you lost touch with. Some may say it's not good because we then rely on socializing with people on the net and not in real life. you have to make sure to keep a balance. Still hang out with your friends in real life and talk to the ones you can't on facebook. It gave me a lot of closure. I moved to Kansas from Florida at age 13 with no warning we just did. Didn't get to say good bye to a lot of people or get numbers. I have had Facebook for about a year and reconnected with almost every person I was wondering about. I think anything online could be bad if you over use it. And you can hide all your details on facebook. Make sure you don't have people on your friends list that you don't want to know your business. Never put your phone number or other info. Your real friends have that info anyhow.

Facebook has security features that protect your privacy but you have to use them. I like the idea of friends and family being able to find me on facebook but they can't see much unless they send a friend request and I accept it. Facebook has helped me to renew friendships with people who I went to school with a long time ago and I very thankful for that.

I don't think facebook is not good for us. It's a social networking site and it will still be up to you on what info you will disclose for public scrutiny. You don't have to write or update every details in facebook. Also, as posted it has security features but of course we don't always rely on the security feature. We still have to responsible on everything that we do.

Well posting or being tagged in some pictures without setting privacy setting can harm your reputation. I have heard that some employers before hiring someone check their Facebook. It is bad because you can waste a lot of time and dont even notice that.

This is really funny people blaming social sites and always pointing social sites when bad things happens and it relates with any social sites particularly Facebook. Facebook can't harm us,it's only a site for people who want to connect with their loved ones and search for their long lost friends and relatives. So,whatever bad things happen to the person who uses that social sites, had no one to be blame but themselves alone. It's their prerogative...not FACEBOOK or any social sites.
