Enjoying mylot

It's almost a week since I started joining this site. It's been a wonderful start and I could fairly say, it gets better especially the historical data of earnings which motivates me more to post and comment. I do mylotting during office hours because I need to buy time while earning. I have been tirelessly been doing nothing here in the office for the past 2 years and it's sickening. I tried strolling the mall for 2 hours window shopping and viewing passers-by. It's a complete waste of time. I have read almost all reader's digest articles so thank God I have found mylot after that. I get to share my thoughts and feelings.

Hahaha! I can't believe you actually have nothing to do at work! Does it pay good? I'd like to have a job like yours, one where I can be tired of doing nothing in the office. What job is this? I enjoy myLot even if I don't use it at work. Oh, yes, sometimes (like now ) I have some spare time at the office and I can enjoy my time in myLot, but most of the time I login myLot from my home computer. You say you already enjoy being here. Let's see how much you'll like it when you receive your payments for what you do here.

Nice! I wouldn't quit such a job if I were you. Two years of doing almost nothing while my account is filled with money! Oh, that's the job for me! You don't need to be behind the advancement of technology. You can use your spare time at the office to get an online job. And I'm not talking about myLotting - this can bring you some money and you can do pleasant things here, but this is not a job. You can have a real well paid job online, as you said you're an IT Consultant. IT is paid well all over the world, if you know enough about computers, you can earn a lot from that.

You see that's what I'm saying about this mylot thingy. Brilliant ideas. Well, challenge is I don't want to change the specific field I am in right now because I've learned to love it through out the years. It's just that there isn't really much to do here right now. So yeah, I consider your proposal. Maybe I'll try companies who'd accept part-time, online while having to stay here doing nothing. But that'd be a bit difficult. I do implementations which requires my physical presence. Anyhow, like what you've said, I'll explore more what's on the market.

Yeah really unbelievable. I earn very much here. I'm a complete waste of money then. HAHAHA. So I'm trying to make use of the remaining fun days like this. The odd is that I am an IT Consultant but I'm just an additional head count on the project so I don't get much load as I expect. Maybe next year, I'll figure out if it's still worth the time like this. Because I never want to get my skills be behind the advancement of technology.

@funkykid: Oh yeah. I figured that out. That's why I'm enjoying it. It's not just the money I'm after but the fun of having to interact with people while learning from them is just sooo exciting. Happy mylotting. What a good verb I'll get used to. =) @bond2010: Thanks too! Happy mylotting to you as well.

wow. lucky you that you have work without the need to work and receiving your salary. i hope you are enjoying your stay with us on mylot. well, it's true. we can find some ways to vent out some of our mind stress from everywhere. just go easy on your working hours, your boss might find you doing nothing. unless you are the boss. goodluck on your business if that's the case. welcome on mylot by the way.

Uhm, I'm not the boss but the one who hired me who's technically my boss but not entirely is offsite. And I believe he knows I'm doing nothing as of the moment. It seems like a customer support agent answering his petty technical questions. Thanks for the warm welcome!

I agree with you mhypie. Since I have had my semestral break I registered to mylot. On my first 4 days, I really pushed my self to participate in forty discussions per day. But now, I'm just having fun on reading the discussions posted by other members, and making a few comments on some. But I'm still trying to start a new discussion when a good topic pops in my head. And of course I'm always excited on checking my earnings. I do mylot while surfing other sites. It's really fun here. Nothing is wasted.

You made me laugh. Let's both enjoy mylotting. I do enjoy browsing the topics posted by mylotters, that's why now, I consume much of my time reading them, than posting my own discussion.

I just recently started joining in the discussions, I wish I had done this earlier, I knew about the site about a year ago but never contributed anything, now I think I am hook. I really enjoy reading the different topics for discussion and responding to some and the incentive is there, you can check on your gains on a regular basis.

You'll enjoy more if you'll get to start it on. Because the thread can go longer which extends more exchanges of questions, ideas and insights. For now, my post can be looked at as a warm welcome. So thanks for your response.

Hello there kayevin. I've been here almost a week and I have earned $0.91 already by posting roughly more than 20 comments per day in an average. I also add friends plus started few discussions already. Not bad right. My target is to earn $0.5 in a day so I could earn at least $11 a month in 22 days (committed office days only). Try posting 50 comments with at least 4 lines on it which of course should have a content and check if you'll get that $0.5 in a day. My highest is $0.21 which I have said a while ago. =)

I am glad you are enjoying yourself and as long as you try to stick to the guidelines, you will soon see more benefits to this site than just getting paid. The things you learn, not only about life, but people and make friends from all over the world, is a great experience and it has helped my a lot in dealing with diversity...:)

Oh yeah. I think I've read a discussion about that. I haven't read the guidelines yet because I am more eager to read discussions first. But I will find a time to do so. Thanks for reminding me though. It's nice people you all here. Happy mylottering! =)

There are a lot of blocked sites in the office too like yahoomail etc. And thank God, it's not facebook plus of course mylot. 4-5 hours is fairly good for you to enjoy and earn. =)

Well I han't been on MyLot as much as I want to but I will. The earnings also motivate my as well. Everyday I look forward to seeing my earnings at the top. After that I try to post more then I recently post the other da. If you might say it gets kind of addicting. In addition you see people who have been on Mylot longer than we have and it motivates you to surpass them, catch up to them, or mayble be almost as good as them.

It is really good to hear that you found mylot and are enjoying it. Yes I know how terrible the feeling is when you have nothing to do in the office. At least now you can just spend time discussing different things in mylot and earn at the same time when you don't have anything to do. I really enjoy posting here and I have been a member like 5 months already and I have not gone bored so far

Good for you. I have been mylotting for the past 3 months and have less the 4 dollars. lol! I come here to read and respond to others discussions. If I got some relevant ideas, I could start a discussion out of that. To sum it up, I have fun here even though I haven't got a payout yet. ^_^

Well I totally agree with you that Mylot is a great place to come when your bored and need to kill sometime and earning a bit of cash doesn't hurt either. All the users come here for different reasons and it's neat when we can all help each other out when we answer each others discussions. My favorite thing about Mylot is how many different discussions there are and cultures and what we can learn when we stumble across certain articles. As for you mostly just starting discussions, well all the power to you because I try but I guess my discussion are either to real or complicated for many people to answer. I don't start the usual "How do you make money online" discussions but more about life and the things around us everyday but people seem to be intimidated by mine so I just mainly answer. Either way I'm glad you found and like Mylot and I wish you on all the luck in earning here.

I see. I have few counts of posted discussions already and this has the most comments from you guys so it's a really WOW to me! Really appreciate it so I'm loving it more and more and more... Maybe my story of being paid in the office by just mylotting to kill the hours is interesting. LOL! Just keep on posting more what's in your heart and you'll capture their heart and taste as well. Happy halloween! -MHY

Well just what like you and I are doing right now if you feel more comfortable commenting on other people's discussion you can start from there to increase your earnings. Because the more you post, the more effort you exert, the more mylot will appreciate it, the more you'll earn. If I could earn at least $0.5 in a day in 22 days (because I can only commit during office hours), I could earn $11 in a month which is above the $10 minimum cash out. Just like in a contest, the more entries you send, the more chances of winning. LOL!
