What is your main form of listening to music?

I remember when I was in elementary school, it was all the rage to have a portable cassette player. Then in middle school, it was all the rage to have a Walkman (Portable cd player). Then before I graduated high school, iPods became the "in" thing! It seems like technology is changing so fast. I honestly hardly listen to the radio anymore unless it's online. I just use my iPod as my main means of listening to music. Once in awhile I'll pop a CD in my stereo, but it's very rare nowadays. I also use my phone sometimes since the sound quality is surprisingly much better than my iPod.
What do you use to listen to music usually? Is it your iPod, a Walkman, an mp3 player, a phone with mp3 capabilities? What did you use when you were younger?

I listen to the CDs most often. I have collection of CDs of songs and classical music. I am very much addicted to listening to classical music, Brahms, Johan Strauss, Mozart, Beethoven, and more. I would listen to those every evening after I get back home from work. That is the way to get rid of all the stresses of the day. Once in a while, I listen to the music channels on the radio too.

It's all about the internet. Live streaming mainly. Internet Radio, band sites, myspace. Don't even need to do the file downloading. It's not worth the hassle.

Ears most of the time. Whatever plays my ear hears it then I have no other choice but to listen to whatever music that is. When I was younger, the same thing.

I usually play music on my laptop while I'm surfing the net or just typing something. I opt not to buy an ipod coz I hate having to bring so many stuff in my bag. I have a cellphone and it plays decently, so its enough for me.

Years ago, i only listened to music on radio, stereo and cassette players. Now i enjoy my music on a cd player. My children like to listen to theirs on the computers and mpe players. Look at how technology has even changed the way we listen to music.
