She might have been too young for grade school, but a judge says a New York City girl was old enough to be sued over a bicycle accident that happened when she was four
What will she be sue for Manslaughter or rough driving? Although it was not stated if the woman died of the incident.
Watch out your kid may be sued for crying on your lap!!!
What do you think, is it right?

In my city, as in many cities, there are places where pedestrians cross. Cars and bikes have to stop. But is you are a pedestrian (as I usually am) I look before I cross. It´s my life and my life is my responsibility.
It is sad that the child run over the lady. But she was four and the lady should have known better. If the lady was elderly, she KNEW that she could not run. So it was her responsibility that she did not stop when she saw the children.
I´m elderly enough to know what to expect from my legs (and knees). And I also know what to expect from 4 year olds.
That judge is a lunatic, if I may say what I think.

Yeah your right...same here. You even see some young guys and boys with bikes at the walking path of the park...yeah its wrong but the best is to be responsible to ones self and be on the look out or just let them go. We all been kids before.
Some judges do have em as lunatic..lol

Oh, that's ridiculous. Completely insane. At that age, you hold the parents responsible, not the kid. Not to mention if you're suing a kid - someone just past toddler age, even - what can you get? The change from their piggy bank?

Now it seems they want it to be the older you get the more irresponsible you should be...
I think the lady must have even wound the girl by not looking at where shes going and collide with the toddler whose legs cant even touch the ground from her bike.
Her family must be so broke and desperate to want to collect money from piggy bank.
