There are people that like being by themselves and there are others that always need the company of someone. I have a friend that's been living by herself for the last 15 years and she's very happy. She does what she wants, when she wants it and how she wants it. Then I have friends that always have a new person in their live because they don't like being alone. I go both ways, I love coming home and opening the door and seeing my honey there. It's nice waking up in the morning and feeling a warm body next to you even though they might snore. When I was single for a period of my Life I enjoyed it too but I never really was home much. I always went out after work just mingling with people having fun and then going home enjoying the peace and quiet of my own place. What's your pleasure...being with someone or just being by yourself?

I'm kinda of a mixed person too. There have been times in my life when I didn't want to be alone and there have been times when it was best for me and just what I needed.

yeah.. it's nice to have someone with you or someone to expect when you get home. but i guess i'm used to being alone myself ever since. i admit sometimes it lonely but most of the time, being alone is not an issue. i even more like it than being with friends or someone. maybe in due time..

When I was alone I just needed to go for a little while and mingle with friends and then I was fine going home and being alone.

I like a nice mixture of both. If I'm going to be with somebody, I want somebody not too needy, who can leave me my space a fair amount of the time.

My mom which is very happy being alone always told me to find a boyfriend who has his own place so when we get tired of being around each other then we can go home to our own places. Sometimes I wish I had listened to her

Hi missy! I also had a chance to have it both ways. I lived alone for many years, had "roomy's" on and off. And I honestly didn't mind living alone when I worked I actually prefered it. But, even though that's how I spent most of my life, the last 3 years of living with my bf has both had it's ups and downs and still does! I was never able to "live comfortably" with anyone before until Lonnie. He has OCD about cleaning and drives me crazy and we definitely have too many issues, but for some reason we "work". As crazy as we both are we just "get" each other. I have really gotten used to him and when he says he is leaving me I get upset! As much as sometimes I find him annoying, I also can't imagine him not here. Does that make sense? Especially from a woman who has always been independent and loved her freedom?

One thing I know, if anything ever happens to Scott I will stay on my own. I had to many bad relationships in my Life and this is the best I ever had so I can't replace it ever.

I think people are made to accompany other people..no one really likes being alone. That's why God made Eve so Adam wouldn't be lonely. But it really depends on the person though- being single doesn't really mean being lonely...It's rather nice, you're free from anything. I enjoy being with people too- but there arr times when we just want to be alone..

It is but every once in a while I need space to do things I like...like maybe crank up the radio to music I like without disturbing him.

Being a married man that would count that I would be comfortable having a partner. Its nice to go home when you know someone is there waiting for you or we both go out for a dinner, it is so much fun when you spend time together like yourself. I guess we have passed a certain stage in our lives like spending it alone and I'm cool with that knowing that your in control with your own time, money and gigs. Nonetheles, I had found more joy on my present state than that of the former.
