My precious 4 year old granddaughter has said so many things in her little time on earth that I have been writing them in a book. I hope to someday be able to publish but more then that be able to read when I'm old and gray. Well yesterday she accidently punched her mom in the nose and my daughter was in alot of pain and actually thought she was having a nose bleed. (She didn't have a nose bleed) Well last night my daughter was explaining to my son-in-law what had happened. My granddaughter then pipes in Daddy I told her she wasn't bleeding, she is such a drama queen. Ha! Ha! Ha! I can't believe she said that because my daughter has been a drama queen all her life and for her 4 year old to know this already its just too funny. Do your kids or grandkids say the funniest things too, please share!

Hiya lelin, Indeed they do say funny things. I can remember a few too but from other Children when I was taking my Son to that particular School. My youngest was always doing and saying funny things so many that they are hard to remember in particular. My eldest one is the one for drama always was and that is not a bad thing in some ways because if you don´t pipe up you will never get heard. Saying in this Country "el que no llora no mama". In other words if you don´t say something no one will ever hear you just say it.

My granddaughter was calling her mom a drama queen. Which I couldn't believe that at the age of 4 she already knows her mom is a drama queen.

Hiya lelin, Your Grand Daughter is funny. She is very bright too. She sounds very observant and knowing also. Calling her Mom a Drama Queen that is funny yes.

I don't have grandchildren yet, I had my boys in my early 30's and they're in their early 20's. I hope they wait awhile, even though I'm looking forward to grandchildren! But they said some cute things when they were little. We were visiting friends, one of which was a very beautiful woman with whom I'm still friends. My youngest was about 3 and when my friend kissed him and held him on her lap it was noticeable that some part of him had woken up. She ask if he had to use the bathroom and he said no, that "sometimes it's squishy--and sometimes it's big!" which caused no end of hilarity later on. Right then, though, we were all trying not to laugh for fear of giving him some sort of complex.

That do say the funniest things and as the moment, I can't think of anything recently that my 8-y/o has said, but if I remember something or he says something soon, I'll let you know..:)

I remember one, but it was at least 25 years ago when my oldest was little. My oldest was always so shy, even around our closest friends she wouldn't speak. One day a close friend visited who had a 2-tone car and my daughter was about 2. I don't know if you remember the "Macco" (sp?) commercial, the body shop where if a car was in an accident, they'd repair the body? Their motto was, "Uh oh, better get Macco." Well, my husband was taking my daughter with him and our friend and they were taking our friends car. When my daughter saw the car, she said, "Uh oh, better get Macco." Our friend was so pleased to hear her talk in front of him, it didn't offend him at all...

My daughter is three now and we carved out first pumpkins this year just tonight. She asked me what the stuff was I was digging out so I told her pumpkin guts. Well she is lifting up the lid and laughing look at the pumpkin guts then she yells upstairs to daddy look daddy pumpkin guts aren't they funny. She just got the biggest kick out of it. She had a blast. And of course she had to stick her finger in the pumpkins noise and laugh about that too.

I have no grandchildren as yet, but my nephew came to visit and while we were on the elevator up to our apartment, we encountered a neighbor, he said his hellos and then explained, "You know I am moving to Jupiter, my wife and I are so excited, we think it's the greatest thing, imagine this will be so peaceful, away from it all". I wished him the best and said my goodbyes, after he got off the elevator, my nephew who was about 5 said, "Oh wow, is your neighbor really going to planet Jupiter to live? We all busted out laughing, then my eldest said to him, "no silly he is moving to Jupiter, Florida". I took a few minutes to explain to him that the neighbor was moving up north and then he had a good laugh with the rest of us.

At 5 am this morning I was sleeping on the couch with my daughter waiting for my sister to come home. When I babysit her kids I have to sleep on the couch downstairs so I can hear her knock when she gets to my house. So when I got a text from my sister at 5am I was texting her back and was so tired I didnt even think about the fact that my daughter was reading what I was writing until she said mommy you just wrote a swear word. The swear word was f*ck.

Oh no you misunderstood what I had said. She didnt say the word that I had written she literally said to me : Mommy you just wrote a swear word. I am glad she didnt say the actual word. She has said it before when her cousin taught her it and it was very strange to hear her say it I was not happy.

At the moment, my husband and I don't have any children. However, his sister has two little girls. I love the two of them, but the eldest just turned 5 and she has always been the funny one. She will say the darnest things at just the right time. There have been times when she has said something that was just hysterical and made us laugh to no end. I have no idea where she comes up with these things, but it's just too funny.

Children are great! When my girls were little they were forever coming up with something to keep me on my toes. I had a pimple once and had worked very hard to cover it...that usually makes it worse anyway...but one of my girls called me right put on it the minute she laid eyes on it....What happened to your face? I laugh now but then it wasn't very funny.

As I've said all along, I don't have any children or grandchildren. I just wanted to say this is so cute, lol! Kids do say the darnedest things, don't they? It's funny that she would know what a drama queen is at her age.

Exactly, that is what so amazing that she knows what it means and how to use it. I keep telling my daughter you are going to be in trouble when she gets older. She is so smart for 4 years old. The way she talks you would think she was 10 already.

I can't share cute stuff but Sunday I couldn't take home my two youngest grandsons, ages 11 and 7 cuz I've had heart surgery and had to tell them no. But the little one, age 7, just cried the biggest tears and my heart just broke. I had to get a calendar and show him that in exactly 10 days I could finally drive over to get him and his brother.......more tears:( But these two are the cutest:) they do say cute stuff but that day will always remain in my heart. I am sooooo sorry I broke that little guy' s heart. But you just wait ! We'll have the best time ever :)

Oh how sad for them and you. I spent the last 3 years of my 4 year old granddaughter's life with her. In fact the last two years she and her parents were living with me. However, past August I moved to Puerto Rico. A couple of weeks ago she started crying because she missed me so much. I felt so bad that she brought me to tears. I will be seeing her in January when my other daughter gives birth so I'm so excited, I miss her so much and can't wait to see her again. I hope the ten days go fast for you so you can see your grandkids again. In my opinion grandchildren are the most precious thing in the world.
