Would you leave your partner when your bestfriend tells you to do so?

I am the kind of person who doesnt want to be dictated with others. If a bestfriend tells you to leave your partner for a good reason, I am welcoming his opinion but not necessarily follow it. I know what is best for me, if it means that my best friend would be mad if I choose my partner, that would be the time, I have to choose to sacrifice and give up the friendship. But a true, real friend whom you consider best of them all, understands and go with whatever your choices in this life and I'm glad my bestfriend is like that.

I don't have a habit on listening to someone when it comes to my personal life. I don't allow others to dictate me either to dump my partner or not. What i usually do is to listen to my heart, balance things, and analyze everything. Seeing special things toward one person often not seen by others. Is it only you who can find out if that person is the right one for you.

Oh hell no, I make up my own mind about such things.

Well, it depends why. I am assuming they would not say that without having a reason for it, so I would ask for the reason, and depending on what that was, then decide what to do.

prettyauds hi... No I don't follow what my bestfriend/friends tell me, I will welcome what they want to tell me, but in the end I will follow my heart... I stay with my partner because I see good in him, I feel love for him, I know he loves me to & he doesn't abuse me... Your friends should respect your choices, be there for you when u need a shoulder to cry on but still accept your choice of a partner even if they don't approve of him/her.. True friends understand. If they think your picking the wrong guy and you love the guy, all they have to do is be there for you and always be there to support you in ways that you won't make wrong moves with your boyfriend. My friend didn't like boyfriend before. They threatened not to befriend me ever again if I pursue my relationship. I gave them up. Believing that friend will always be friends. Love and friendship must not go in the way. It has different degree and can be kept at the same time. ^_^
