Why do people lie? / myLot

there are lots of reasons why people lie everytime...even I lie sometimes..but wouldn't it be nice if no one lied- if everyone told the truth. then there would be no deception, just the naked truth. Wouldn't the world be more peaceful if everyone was honest in their doings? Can people ever break this bad habit of lying?.. What is the real reason that people lie, even though we don't need to.

for the good ones, they do not want to hurt people. for the bad ones, they want to take advantage of people.

There are different reasons why people lie. Some people use it intentionally. They use it to hide the truth. They use it for their own sake. Some people lie for other people. They do it for the people that they love.

Yes,I do agree that sometimes lying can do good and help others; it's jus sad that a lot of people do lie for their own sake..

Why would I lie? Honestly, I would prefer to be truthful. Lying kinda complicates matters. But if a question becomes too personal for comfort, I would probably lie, too, even if everybody knows I am lying...

Ye is complicates things..a lot. But if there is a personal question..I'd probably just say I don't know..just to be safe
