Stupidity, or maybe a better way to say it is recklessness can lead you to unfortunate consequences. For example, you left the iron on and it started a fire while your not looking and when you noticed it it was too late, clothing got holes in it, and you burned your Ironing board, or even worse your house is on fire. Things like this happen because of freedom to be stupid or reckless. If we were only restricted to become alert then maybe we can lessen the occurrences of stupid.

No! The Only way to stop the stupid is to make sure they can't do the activity, period. If they are truly stupid, they won't heed Any warning. Or they will just ignore it! And by making sure they won't do whatever , you Must forbid Everyone from doing it. That why everyone will be paralyzed.

Well, if you really like paralysis then okay. I'm just saying this whole thing to lessen stupid activities not to eradicate stupid. It's just a suggestion. Thanks for sharing your cure.

No, I'm not proposing dictatorship but self improvement. Besides what you are saying will not work because our sleep is controlled by our circadian rhythm which involves melanin. Individually it is different. I'm just saying that if we can increase the time frame where we are alert then there is less occurrence of stupid because when we are alert we can see things beforehand that we can't if were not alert. It's not solving a problem it's decreasing the number of problems. Also if you don't know yet belief only exists in the mind of the believer. Keep that in mind.

So you think these things happen because we are free to be stupid and reckless and by restricting people to become alert we can lessen the "occurences of stupid." How would you suggest going about this restriction? Maybe putting everyone in the world on a 9 o'clock bedtime to ensure everyone wakes "alert" and ready to face a day with no mistakes? Do you honestly believe something like that will solve the problem?

Yeah, it's true. Unfortunately we are all subjected to stupidity. We're all bound to do something stupid at least one time a day.
