What antivirus software do you use (if you have a PC)?

Hello, mylotters. Antivirus programs are software that can detect and try to destroy a virus. Examples of antivirus programs are Norton, McAfee, AVG or Avast, just to name a few. I use Norton Antivirus on my PC (it's about to break or crash), and so far, it helps me. That bears in mind. What antivirus software do you use on your PC?

I prefer using AVG software. I have been using it for the past two years and have not had any major issues with it. For starters it is free and then they give updates quite often enough to catch most of the major viruses. So far so good. Cheers! Ram

I use AVG on my main pc, and on my secondry which is a mac, i have norton anti-virus, i find that Norton is VERY fast at removing harmfull viruses, but quite annoying when they are potentcaly harmfull, and you can't get it back... But i find AVG very usefull, some good points about it are that it is, free, very good at detecting viruses, gives you a option and has alot of updates.

I used AVG too. But then I don't know what went wrong. After updating it over internet, I suddenly found that Windows Xp is not detecting any antivirus in my PC at all. Now that was really very creepy. I turned off the notification of my operating system. Then something creepier happened. AVG just stopped updating itself over internet and started showing error. AVG as long as it worked in my PC was by far the best antivirus solution. Now that I am using Avast, I still miss my old buddy.

I use Microsoft Security Essentials, along with MalwareBytes and Spybot Search&Destroy. That usually keeps my computer safe from viruses, plus I don't download a lot so I usually don't get viruses.

right now I'm using Mcafee. it seems fine for me. i've been using a lot of antivirus since we got our PC. i've tried AVG, avira, avast, norton and a lot. I dont like norton since it slows down my pc in significant value. for now i dont know which antivirus is really efficient at all times. i seem to think that having an antivirus program is great, but it wont make u totally safe with all the upcoming strong and new viruses.

I used to use Avast, but then when my computer has viruses, Avast didn't fix much, so I change to AVG FREE, and AVG works very good, so I'm using AVG now

I use McAfee Antivirus Plus. It's pretty good on finding most trojans and viruses. Of course it's not perfect since it doesn't pick up everything. I also don't like the fact it doesn't run a scan on the schedule time like it's suppose to. It runs like 3 hours of the time it's suppose too, but other than that I have no problem with it.I also have Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and Superantispyware also so whatever McAfee misses, these two can pick it up trojans and other things.

I prefer to use kaspersky internet security or bitdefender total security. Both are good antivirus.bitdefender is little bit better than kis.But it slows system little bit. Eset smart security,nod32 also good antivirus. But im using microsoft essential security(mse),because it is free for genuine os. mse and eset will not slow the system
