Whch do you prefer to use while sleeping, soft or hard pillow?

Some people enjoy sleeping while their heads are lying on soft pillow, like my mom. She said that it's very relaxing for her to lie on soft pillow rather than hard pillow. She can't afford to sleep on hard pillow. But did you know that there are people who prefer to lie on a pillow as hard as rock? Actually when I slept over my fiend's house one day, she gave me a hard pillow. I thought that's the only spare they had. But later on I found out that all their pillows were as hard as rock, she complained she cannot sleep with soft pillow as she fee like drowning when her head was lying with soft pillow. Maybe she just used to that hard pillow that's why more comfortable using it.But personally I prefer not so soft and not so hard pillow How about you? Do you prefer soft or hard pillow? Why?

Hello! I prefered to sleep in a hard pillow but I have a soft one in the middle of my legs and one which i hug for the whole night. I don't want soft pillow on my head, just like your mother I cannot sleep and felt so uneasy and feel like drowning as well. I have one big pillow, made by my mother when she's still alive, its a hard one and until now, im still using it. I also had a soft pillow, a big one when im still a baby, my pillows' name is "Bai" I love to cuddle it every night, sad to say, that pillow's no longer around. Only the hard one which I used everynight and I couldn't sleep without. Good night!

I am really picky with pillows. I don't like new pillows, I don't like old pillows, I like pillows that are just right. I buy new pillows and I sit on them for about a few weeks then they're just right, lol. I'm strange :)

I use a hard pillow for my head and a very soft big pillow to hug while I sleep. And I don't sleep straight. It makes me have nightmares. But sometimes the hard pillow also gives me headache (at the part where I slept on it). Well, the only reason why I don't use our soft pillows for my head is that we have really huge and thick soft pillows. I feel like I have a hunchback with them, while our hard pillows are just two inches high. It just raises my head well and enough for me. I like to hug pillows because I don't like my arms over my arms and my knees over my knees. The bone hurts each other..

I would prefer to have a not so hard pillow. It would not either make me comfortable having a hard pillow, but not so soft for I need to doubled it for comfortability. We need to always have a good sleep, and pillow is one factor to acquire a good night sleep.

Hi,
Personally, I like to sleep on soft pillow.No hard pillow for me,
or else I will choose to sleep without a pillow.
I feel uncomfortable to sleep on hard pillow,my neck feel pain,and can't
get the right position to sleep on.
As for soft pillow, I feel comfortable and I just like to use
my hand to hug on to the pillow while sleeping.
There was once I went back to my parents' house and my mother gave me
a hard pillow to sleep,that whole night, I could not sleep and at last,
I just slept without a pillow.

I prefer to sleep with a medium and a soft pillow under my head. The medium one goes underneath the soft pillow. The reason for me doing this is I like for the soft pillow to push up close to my face. I also tend to put the softer pillow over my face and eyes so that the noise levels and light don't bother me as much. I then sleep with a long body pillow that is fairly soft that I cuddle up to at night. I work graveyard shift and so I don't sleep in bed with my husband. I think I need to pillows to compensate because for so long I worked days and did sleep at night when my husband slept.

Yes I do agree with you. Even I prefer a hard pillow so that my head is raised up and my neck gets relaxed. It differs from person to person and eventually I observed elderly people and kids prefer soft pillows. It is always better to use a not so hard and not so soft pillow for better relaxation of your neck muscles and head as well.A fine print pillow covers with floral designs of light colors like light green and light blue will facilitate you for a sound sleep.

i think soft pillow is really boring for me when i sleep and in rality i don't like it..so i will choose always hard ones...such as not so hard but a good one not really soft if not i would be almost unable to sleep well..

Okay, when i moved i just bring my camping bag with all the necessary things and i carry with me my camping bed, hahaha, obviously i forgot my pillow, oh no, i just left it though as it was really bulky, so today i use lying flat with no pillow... But my pillow was not too soft not too hard... Its my first time here hearing there are pillows as hard as rock or is just a bit adsurb? What do you think? Is it really as hard as rock? Hahaha, unusual if true. Well today i order a pillow from my friend as she is an agent of dakki, its a superman hahaha, a long pillow, i guess i would love it. Happy mylotting and enjoy the holiday, no work here.

I do not like soft or hard pillows but I prefer to use medium pillows. I am really picky when it comes to pillows. It is hard for me to buy pillows unfortunately :( But if I am going to a hotel or something, I don't lay on their pillows because I think they have a lot of germs and it's dirty because they're not new pillows for ever customer so I just don't lay on a pillow or I bring my own. I usually bring my own sheets too because I'm a clean freak like that...

I prefer to use a soft pillow because I feel comfortable when sleeping a soft one.I definitely say that my sleeping habit will affect if I am using the hard one as I already tried to used.
