Do you prefer to ride in bus or jeepney? Why?

We don't own a car, only tricycle. So every time I travel to other municipality I have to ride in public vehicle. I always prefer to ride in a bus, even though fair is much higher compared to jeep. Because I feel more comfortable to sit when the sitting capacity is at least two or three each row of seats unlike in jeep at least ten or more in each row. That's very uncomfortable for me. How about you. If you commute where do you prefer to ride? In a bus or jeep? Why?

Well it depends on the location. But I always ride the jeepney.

Here in the place i am staying, the only available public vehicles are tricycle and multicabs. But the main transportation for public are the tricycles. The city is considered as the tricycle capital of the philippines because of its principal mode of transportation. Most often times I ride the tricycle going to work and going to the heart of the city.

Wow so your from Phils. like me,yes there's a lot of tricycles here, and also pedicab. Here in my place there's an option if want to ride in a jeep it's cheaper but I must walk about some distance to reach the main road. But If going to travel in other municipality or province I ride in a bus which is faster than any vehicle specially the express

It depends where I am going. If I am going out of Metro Manila, I prefer to take an airconditioned bus - more comfortable and facing forward. I have experienced riding a jeepney to Mountain Province and my body ached all over from bouncing around, mostly in my sides. But if the ride is just nearby, a jeep is preferable since it fills-up faster.

If it takes only a few minutes to travel, I prefer to ride in a jeep. But if it takes hours, then I'd ride in a bus.

Uhmmm.. Yeah like the others if it's just near I take a jeep just because the bus here in our place does not like people who would ride here then would go down in just a km or two. But I really like to ride in bus and I really would prefer taking buses than jeeps. It's because I feel safer in a bus. I've been involved in an accident where the bus where I was and a jeep met face to face. I know it's the bus driver's fault. Anyways, my point here is that the bus passengers, none of us get really badly hurt except for me having some bruises but the jeep passengers are all badly hurt and they got blood and two passengers lose their two legs and the driver bloody all over and a lot of other passengers bloody. It really scared me to ride in jeeps... In jeep also you're more prone to holdups.
