A new day, a new week, and a new month!

I do enjoy when there is a new day, week, and month at the same time, when the first of the month is on a Monday. It just seems like everything starts fresh and everything is even all things considered, to get a fresh start. It just feels awkward when a month starts in the middle of the week. With the first being on a Monday, it just feels like as we turn the calendar, it is done multiple ways and it is just a fresh day.

I see your point and am glad that this month works well for you. I personally never thought of it and take it as it comes. Do you think we should rearrange the calendar so that each month will always begin on a Monday? Each month could be 28 days and there would be a 13th month with whatever days are left over. Should the calendar be adjusted?

It would be nice. I doubt that would ever happen by anyone who could do such a thing but it would be nice. Twenty eight days does seem much more uniformed, although it would take a lot of adjusting thinking to do something like that. Thank you for your response. You are welcome. I would have no problem if they adjusted it but chances are unlikely as you state. Next year August will begin with a Monday. Now you have something to look forward to. Have a great day!

I agree with you on that one..yeah! It does feel nice, although especially so if you make a goal for yourself and stick with it. Unfortunately I didn't really have a goal to stick to or a resolution to make (i do, but I'm just too lazy to go through with them) but I still, also, like starting on a new, clean slate, even if there was nothing wrong with the previous month or week.

This month starts the busiest time of the year for most people as it starts the holiday season. I am looking forward to this season as I enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas so much. I am thankful that we have the opportunity to enjoy the sights and sounds of these holidays. I do enjoy the first of the month being on a Monday and I enjoy all of the firsts that are coming with the day.

Indeed this is the most hectic two month period of the year. From Halloween to New Year's, it is nothing but nonstop insanity. And then its a new year. Can't believe the year has gone so fast. I really wish the day soon passed, the month immediately changed and the new year is coming. A lot of bad things that I experienced this a few days, because the area where I live, mountain explosion disaster occurred. I want a new day, without a sense of fear comes.

Hopefully things do turn around. Life tends to have its share of misfortunes and they can be rather bothersome to get through. However, hopefully they will soon be over and life will improve.
