When I go to sleep I sleep as much as I can. But the problem is that if I feel that I need to pee. I tried to stop it and pee when I woke up. I started feeling bad about this habit. When I was walking I start feeling ache in my back or side of my hips. Is there anything I can do aside from peeing on time. Is there anything I could take as medication to prevent problem on my kidney?

You should learn how to take care of your kidneys. What you're doing is harmful to your kidney organs. The main reason why you keep on having the urge to urinate during the night is because you drink too much water before you sleep. If you're a water drinker do it during the day and limit your water intake to a glass of water before you sleep. Keep your body warm also when you sleep, when it's cold our kidneys works harder hence the need to pee every now and then.

You should learn to stop the habit of holding your pee. I don't really know what's going to be wrong with it. However, we all know that if we need to pee, it will go out even if you'd hold it in. I think what you could do is to drink more coconut milk. They say it helps clean up kidneys and such.

Hello syoti20... I don't know whether there is a problem in your kidney or you are having a high blood sugar. Have you done a check up? My father was a person with diabetes mellitus, and he often woke up at night to take a pee. Do your father or mother have a high blood sugar too? Well, it's better you do some check up and consult to your doctor..

Holding the urge to pee causes the bladder to stretch my friend a bad habit we all commit. But think about the many older adults who even with a laugh wet themselves and cannot refrain from stopping this. It is one of the reasons this happens so please make it a point not to continue to keep this habit as it will cause your bladder to stretch. I am not quite sure what would be a great home remedy as we truly do not know what the problem is. If you cover the symptoms and not get to the root of the problem you will later find it harder to cure. So if this persists too often my suggestion is to visit a doctor as it quite simply could be a urinary tract infection. Very common in many people so do not be alarms and keep an eye on this if it doesn't get better. Good luck.

It is not advisable to holding a full bladder. It should be emptied regularly. Urinating is the kidney's way of flushing out toxins from our body. So there is absolutely no reason for you to prevent your body from releasing these toxins. If you feel pains already, better to see a doctor because it is a warning sign from your body that something is wrong inside. We only have 2 kidneys, once they're damaged, there's no turning back.

when you have the urge to pee, then do it. Don't make it a habit of controlling your pee. The worst thing that may happen, when you really want to pee, there will be no urine coming out and it its so aching. I've experience that because of bad eating habits.. you should visit a doctor and have a urinalysis so they can advise you medications.

Holding back pee is very bad and it can lead to many more problems, because pee is toxins in our body and the sooner you let then out the better. You can try not drinking any liquids...like tea coffee and water at least 4 hours before sleeping. Also go to bathroom, just before sleeping.I think this will solve your problem. But please, change this habit, it can damage your kidney. Please don't do such careless thing with yourself.

Hi. I used to do that but when i had my checked up i got scared cause I am prone to crystal stones. You better stop that bad habit before it getting worst. When you're conscious go hurry your self to release that urine before it back flow and eventually become UTI. My physician told me that holding back my urine will expand my bladder and it took years before the size become normal. The result of holding back is frequent urination just like the symptoms of urinary tract infection. Drink plenty of water to flash out the toxins and seek for a medical advice. No one can help you but the medical professionals. Anyway, any fever? the symptoms your experiencing is UTI.

Hi, We feel the urge to pass urine when our bladder gets full and needs to be emptied. However we do have control of when or where we want to pass urine. We are able to do this voluntary action because of the messages passing between the brain and the bladder. It's not good for our health to refrain from passing urine. This could fairly lead to kidney stone formations thus may result in major kidney problems like kidney failures.Since your condition is still undiagnosed I stongly suggest that you consult your physician immeadiately to prevent anu further damages if there is any.

Drink plenty of water. Even though your kidneys may be damaged, they should still be able to process water. Try to drink at least eight glasses each day. If you experience the symptoms of kidney failure, call your doctor and get to a hospital immediately. Kidney failure can be treated by dialysis, but treatment must begin as soon as possible to increase chances of success.

i think you better consult a Urologist for this matter, most likely gallbladder problems rather than kidneys. Retaining urine may cause UTI or some gallstones, and it is best to pee anytime you feel it coming. Taking in coconut milk is a good fluid treatment as it cleanses out your bladder. One more thing, refrain from taking fluid intake before you sleep and try to pee before going to bed.

Old folks would always recommend drinking of coconut juice to cleanse the kidneys. I think it works because even doctors recommend this. You can give it a try and see if it helps. Also drinking plenty of water a day should help in the cleansing of our body.

I think that you are suffering from kidney stone or urine infection. You should drink plenty of water daily. Drinking the juice of banana stem is the best method to cure this problem. Consult a good nephrologist as soon as possible .

I wish I could help you with this. Unfortuneately, I can't, though, because I have this same problem. I get up to go to the bathroom several times during the night. I feel like it's because I drink things so late. However, I've always had this problem. I don't have any kind of pains in my back or hips, though. You might ant to talk to a doctor about this. I never did let my trips to the bathroom at night bother me much, though, especially now that I live alone. At least I'm not keeping anybody awake.
