What was the name of the last book that you read. I am currently reading a book called Vampire Academy series and I'm on the 4th book, hoping to get to the 5th book soon. The name of the 4th book is called Shadow Kiss. It is a really good book series that is written by Richelle Mead. I enjoy reading books and if I find one that I can just delve right into, then I would never be able to put the book down. What about you do you enjoy reading and what is the last book that you read or that you are reading now.

That sounds like a really good book to read. Interesting title. Is it telling you how to be a smart person or what exactly. Did you enjoy reading the book. What is the book about.

The last book I read was "The Prophet of Yonwood". It's the prequel to The City of Ember, and the third book in the series. It's a children's book series and very good. Although I didn't like The Prophet of Yonwood as much as the first two. Now, I'm reading the fourth and last book in the series.

That sounds like a good book to read. Why didn't you enjoy the first book too much, was it not that interesting.

Is it truly a children's series or a young adult series. I have never heard of it. Do you know the author off the top of your head.

The last book i read was a zombie comic i brought quite a few years ago. I don't read books very often but i do like reading horror comics and a few others too. Its nice read them as i find them quite interesting and all the illustrations just add to the imagination of the short stories in the comics.

Ooh Twilight series, I love that series too. You and I are pretty much into the same type of books. I love vampire books.
2 Nov 10
I loved the twilight books too but i felt that breaking dawn was a disapointment. All the previous books discussed everything Bella would have to give up if she were to stay with Edward and i thought i gve a good lesson about how we can't expect to have everything we want. Then everything turned out perfectly and nothing was learned; in my opinion it was too sugary sweet. it was a good series but i feel that Meyer was focusing more on pleasing fangirls than creating a good storyline by the writing of Breaking Dawn. I read all of them almost two years ago, while I was nursing my daughter. I found jacob being imprinted with/on bella and edward's daughter kind of creepy. The idea that you have one soul mate and that soul mate could be so young is a disturbing thought.

I absolutely love the Vampire academy books! I have read all the currently available volumes and am now waiting for the next to be released. If you're into teen vampire novels i would suggest the Vampire Diaries series by L J Smith. They're a bit cliche at times but they have good plotlines, interesting characters and are definitely good for those days when you want to do nothing but read. I am currently reading both wuthering heights (more as a challenge than for pleasure) and Let The Right One In which is written by a swedish author whose name i can't recall at the moment. It has been made into a major film "Let Me In". I'm a huge fan of fantasy and vampires. Amy * p.s. if you are a fan of pride and prejudice you may like to try reading Mr Darcy Vampire ( a sequel to the original in which Mr Darcy is a vampire) or Mr Darcy's Desire (a rewrite of the oringinal story and how it would have turned out if Mr Darcy was a Dhampir)

That is so cool that you and I like the same books. I haven't read the Vampire Diaries yet but I have been watching the TV series. Have you seen the TV series and is it anything like the books. I do want to read the Vampire Diaries, once I finish up on the Vampire Academy series. I'm still like on the 3rd book. There's more books coming out with that. Omg, I'm like excited, it makes me want to catch up even more. I will definitely check out that other book that you have recommended to me. Do you know of any other vampire books that I also may be interested in.

Omg I am another total Damon Fangirl on Vampire Diaries. I'm like omg he is like totally cute. My friend on the other hand we always have an argument on whose cuter in the show. She likes Stephen, and I'm always like girl I'm sorry, but Damon is way cuter then Stephen. Wow, I am then totally excited about the new books that will be coming out for Vampire Academy. I can't wait to see how it is going to end. I am trying to get my friend also into these books. Because she likes vampire books as well. She's all into the Twilight Series, and I mentioned to her that Vampire Diaries was another book series as well. She's just been watching the TV show. I will definitely be checking out these other books that you have mentioned though. Thanks.

I adore the Vampire Diaries tv show (i'm a total Damon fangirl) but it is actually quite different to the books. the pilot episode pretty much stuck to what happened in the books but since then the plot has been growing more and more different, although most of the main points are the same (ie elena and katherine, the salvatore brothers, bonnies powers, the lockwood curse etc). Yeah, i think there's going to be about 8 books in the VA series, and then a few spin off books after that. Hm, if you read the original dracula there was a sequel written a few years ago by a decendant of Bram Stoker based on his own notes. It's a really interesting twist on the original story, and since it is written in more modern language it is considerably more palatable. There's also the Saga of Darren Shan by Darren Shan which moves away from the cliches vampire stories. It's aimed at kids/teenagers but i read them a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. Amy *

I just got finished with "Cross" by James Patterson. I am working my way through all of the Alex Cross books, only a few left to go! It's nice to read a series that has alot of the books already published, I've been able to find them used for pretty cheap and haven't had to wait for a new one to come out!

I have been reading a series of books with the same character. His name is Jack Reacher. I do not usually read a book unless it is mostly romance, but my dad has gotten me hooked on them. Lee Child is the author. Reacher, when he left the military, decided to become a ghost. He does not have a conventional job, and unless he wants to be found, he will not be found. He helps people, using his skills as a military cop and detective.

The last book I ever read was The Kid by Kevin Lewis. It was an amazing true story following the life of a young boy beaten by his parents, abandoned by social services and bullied at school. Its really heart-warming and I would recommend it to anyone seeking a book to read =D

for me, it was 'the lone texan' by jodi thomas. it's the last book in the whispering mountain series if i'm not wrong. i love reading books especially with action and romance in the genre. recently though, i've been in the mood for some paranormal romance, and so i've been reading more of christine feehan, katie macalister, gena showalter, nalini singh and so on. they are definitely satisfying my cravings hehehe they're really great writers with such vivid imaginations. i write about all their books, which i really enjoy in my blog. there are some that i don't write too, if i am not really wowed that is. otherwise, most are written down although it takes me time as i'm too lazy or just not in the mood. but the book that you're reading sounds really interesting. is it paranormal romance? i don't think i've come across richelle mead's books. will be on the lookout next time. http://sminut13.blogspot.com
