long distance relationships?

have you ever been in this kind of relationship? what are your opinion about this? do you think it will survive or you're just wasting your time and effort? how did you cope up with this one?

I don't know how to cope with the ralationship of the long distance between two people .but I know two people who are the relationshio of the long distance for 4 yuears .of course ,they are married at last .and then are very happy and have a little baby not long before.
wish them happy forever.
