Lost Groceries

I went to the grocery store a couple days ago and the bagger must have forgotten to put one of the bag of groceries in our cart. We lost some string cheese, bagel dogs, and pepper jack cheese. This really sucks because we paid for them and I was looking forward to eating them. Anyway, we didn't notice until the next day because there were two of us putting away the groceries and I guess we both just figured the other person put them away. What would you do in this situation? Go back to Jewel or just lick your losses?

About three years ago me and my wife left a bag of shopping in a taxi after we had been grocery shopping because it had slid under the back seat and we didn't notice until we got all the bags in the house and were putting it away whiles marking it off the receipt. I think we left a bag of chips, some pickled onions, sugar and flour and a few other little things... fortunately it was the cheaper and least important things.

That sucks. It's not worth it to go to the grocery again I think. It was mostly cheese in the bag and I can live without it.

I would also go back they probably found them but they have no way of knowing who they go to. I would call and tell them what happened and ask who I needed to talk to when I got there to get my missing items. You did pay for them and you should get them.
