Why Can't I Delete My Own Discussion?

I posted a discussion that was apparently spam and found the tags "reported, spam, violation" on it. It's still there but I'd like the option to delete it myself, since it's not useful for the community. Why isn't there the option to at least delete our topic, since we can't even edit it?

myLot is not like other message boards and forums. It's a paid to post site... once you create a topic and people start to respond to it, you would affect not only your own earnings but the earnings of others if you had the ability to delete or edit your own content.

The reason you can't is because the admins are the ones who delete them. Once any discussion has been reported, then he admins will delete it if they feel it has violated the Terms of Use. Not all discussions that are reported are deleted. I had one that was reported and never got deleted, as it wasn't a violation. Now, if you had posted a discussion that is considered spam, it will be deleted in time. I hope this has helped you. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.
