a new superbug on the rise

The world has been to different forms of widespread epidemic this past decade that we all got scared to be infected with. When anthrax virus has caused Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) that has been first reported in Asia, I for myself did not want to go out even to the nearest store to buy something. I was really scared because I am Asian and for all I know, my neighbors might had been infected already. When the birds' flu and swine flu has spread to mankind, I was paranoid. And now, scientists find a new superbug that has originated in India. They called it the New Delhi metallo-beta-lactamase or NDM-1. I don't know if some of you guys have heard of this already. But I have just read it on this site. http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE67A0YU20100811?pageNumber=1

Hi cher! I was wondering too because I have not seen this on the news, I just read it on the site that I have posted above. The article said it might spread due to medical tourism. Well, lucky for me, because I wont travel to different countries just to have some cosmetic surgery and I'm not into that kind of surgery though. But this could be a big problem if it becomes pandemic.
