World war

Unfortuanately I do think that a third World War may occur and I fear it will be a lot more devasting than all other wars in the past. Many countries will not give up their nuclear weapons; there have been only two occasions in which a nuclear bomb was used on a populated area and still to this day it has been affecting people due to radiation. These nuclear weapons that countries like the USA have, are A LOT more powerful so I couldn't possible imagine the amount of lives it would affect. I just don't understand why countries have these weapons unless they were intending on using them in the future which I fear they will. Although for once, I do really hope I'm wrong.

If we are lucky we will not see such a war in our lifetime. All these smaller wars take tolls on people as it is I couldn't imagine another global war effort.
