Where's My Cent?

Ok. So mylot updates your earnings every 24 hours right?
When I opened my PC this morning, I say I got $0.90. Then now, after 5 hours, I am so shocked to see that my earnings have become $0.89.
I know. It's just a cent. Well, I'm just wondering what happened!!! All of a sudden, I lose a cent! I'm sure it was $0.90 and now it's $0.89.
Does anybody know how this kind of thing happens? It's just my 3rd or 4th day here. Does mylot charge anything here?
I just want to know. If you have any idea, please tell me. Thanks!

Oh my god!? Is that really true dude? But try to w8 for another 24 hrs, So you have to wait for 2 days. But I was shock when you said that you lose a scent!
Well, i have a problem too. But not regards to losing a cent. Of all my posts (20+posts). I only earned $.02 cents! I do not know whats happening but my cousin says that i should wait for another 24 hours. (2 days at least).
I hope that you recover your $.01 cent. Laugh out loud. Just relax and chill. Keep posting dude.

buragee i know that some people say that lines we write are not related with our earnings but i guess it is ^^ if you wrote 20 posts and only won 2 cents then maybe you should write longer answers^^ at least try to write 5 lines in each post you make^^ i do that and i always earn the right amount^^ also try to create like three discussions and attach images to it ^^ it helps you to earn more. i dont say for you create more discussions bcs maybe you have other job and do this in part time^^ but try the way im telling you and then tell if it helped^^

maybe thats why im not earning that much here in mylot. i'll try to write longer comments so i can earn the right amount here. thanks sweetloveforeve for the tip, it really helped me to realize some things :)

Well I don't think I'd really get that cent back... LOL... I just hope they give more cents... LOL... anyways, regarding that "write longer answers", yeah I think that helps. I read something about mylot outside mylot and the person says post at least something that is "4 lines up". Maybe the line count matters too.

Did you receive any emails that one of your posts have been deleted or your response was deleted because the started discussion was? These two are the possible reasons why your earnings decreased. However, if you think that none of your posts were deleted because of a violation, you can contact mylot regarding this matter.

Yeah.. There were I think 2 to 4 discussions I have joined that were deleted for some reasons I really don't know. Anyway, all I know is that a cent is gone. Though I'm not sure how come it's gone, I think i'll just behave and maybe after 24 hours I got some more earnings... If it continues to go down, down, down, then I think I really am going to protest. Thanks for your suggestions.

I experienced that last month. One of our friend here shared why we get deductions. But after they deduct from my earnings I always receive email from them, A notification indicating that my post was deleted and that's the reason I get deductions.

Yeah I received e-mails to that my post was deleted because the discussion was deleted. I just wasn't able to pay attention to the fact that a deleted post will cause deduction in earnings.

i guess that happens if your comment disappears ^^ for example if you comment in someone's discussion and that discussion is deleted you lose your cent that you won commenting that discussion. also if you have a discussion and you answer people that commented and then your discussion is deleted all money that you won they take it back. i know is sad but it happens

Yeah it's sad to lose money especially if you really put effort in it.

The answer to your question is in the FAQs:
"myLot members who have a decrease in earnings have had one or more posts deleted throughout the month. The main reason for this could be that you started a discussion that violated our guidelines or terms , that you responded to, or commented on, a discussion that violated our guidelines or terms , or that a comment you made on a blog article or news story violated our guidelines or terms . "

It is possible that you replied to a discussion that got removed. When that happens then you will lose money. As for the updates, they say approximately every 24 hours but it sometimes is later than others. Sometimes they don't get updated all day but it always happens sooner or later.

This happens to everyone. I myself have lost several cents throughout my stay here. This happens when your post has been deleted by admin or the discussion you responded has been deleted as well.
So, my advice is, respond to discussions that are of quality content- those discussions that will most likely stay for years.

You will lose some of your earnings if some of your comments or post has been deleted because of guideline violations.

The computation of our earnings , as i understand it , is manually monitored, as well as our posts and responses. The time you saw your earnings they haven't checked everything it like discussions that violate the rules of mylot, and when they did that, finding violations means deletion of such post, the adjustment to earning will follow suit as well. Thus, you'll see the decrease in your earnings.

One thing is sure. One of the topics you have responded got deleted. That is the sad part of responding to topics that violate the forum's rules since they get deleted along with the cents we earned by giving our comments. Next time, be careful in choosing your topics to be responded.

It's not that big a deal, but sometimes discussions you posted in are delted because they violate the MyLot guidelines.s If you post a lot and in different discussions, it won't usually matter that much.

Ok not for the cent you after but just asking why? After I read all the responses I think one of them are the answer but suggest only if you did not recover is it a reason to stop you and left mylot - nobody's perfect right...? so go on.. see you around@Bannybanzie (1397)

Perhaps one of your thread is deleted. Why? Read the TOS. Or the simple thing, check the notification email from mylot. What I know is just, our earnings here are fluctuative. We are paid not because our quantity, but our quality. Mylot forbid spams. So, have you see your own fault? If you see you're not wrong, just send PM to the admin. They'll answer your question.
