I replied to one of discussion today, after replying a similar post, when I clicked on that I found it four year old post, the respondent and starter had less than 800 post after four years. Then I check that discussion and I compared it with some of new discussion of similar type.
Have you ever compared old discussion like a year or two back discussion with new discussion and did you felt any difference between them?

There are too many notifications to attend to and that leaves me no time to check and compare past discussions. But sometimes admin will resurrect old discussions and that is the only time that I get to see past discussions.

Yes you are right, there are so many, and it is very difficult to compare them, I came across one and this idea came to ma mind
Thanks for discussion, this was the post above which I wanted to change, because you can see it shows some important sentences missing and it shows the absence of mind, and I know when I was about to post this discussion I was sleepy and now I am unable to edit this....:)

Yes I have noticed this as I am pretty active here on myLot. I find that even now though a posted discussion yesterday, can be compared to a similar one today. As truly there are so many members from around the world and well so many get duplicated.
Although they are duplicated they are worded about different, so sometimes I post a reply anyways as I feel differently today then I did yesterday.

Thank you very much, actually this was the post for which I started my other topic that can we edit our post or not.
And I was right, then thing which I wanted to convey to reader got hidden some where in the post and thats why the reader is unable to understand the purpose of the post, did want to complain about duplication but I wanted to compare the understanding of readers in past and now about a certain topic and this thing I could not explained over here and you also answered the same way duplication, so thats why I was asking for edition. But I think let it go now in this way, some time later I ll discuss this thing in some other post....
Have a nice weekend....

Personally it really depends on who the starter is, and there are times maybe it is the same person starting the discussion here, just a new nick. Or someone who got their idea for the discussion here from the older discussion. I have seen it many times here myself, and I feel unless it is word for word copied, anything here is usually OK.
