My boyfriend back in March and two seizures and being discharged from the hospital he was giving Diltan, we we went back for a check up and he was complaining of headache so the doctor, prescribed Topamax to prevent migraine headache and after four days of taking the topamax he started itching real bad and the skin turn red. He was admitted to the hopsital where they were treated him for an allergic reaction his back stomach was the only thing that was itching and red, but after being in the hopsital for a couple of days his hands, stomach, face, mouth, and around his eyes and his neck and ears turn real black like had been burned. At the hopsital they had him on antibotics for a week and half but that did not help anything, once they took him off all the medications he stared doing better, but a week later he is back in the hospital claiming that the skin on his legs hurt and that it hurts for him to walk and his arms are very painful. the skin on his legs are red and blochy and his arms. He has a good appetite, drinking well no fever this time, white blood count is very high, but blood presssure is normal. They have him on steroids, antibiotics and morphine for the pain. He also has some oozing coming from the skin. Does this sound like steven johnson syndrome and is there treatment for him take to make him better.
