No not baking soda. Soda pop that is bacon flavored. Does this even sound good to you? J&D Foods in Seattle, the makers of all things bacon, partnered with Jones Soda to make this swine flavored beverage. Both companies make some pretty odd products. http://www.aolnews.com/weird-news/article/bacon-flavored-soda-sizzles-onto-shelves/19697827?test=latestnews What do you think. You could make your eggs on the morning and wash it down with some bacon soda!

I think I'll pass, and I predict low sales. I think this venture may go the way of the Edsel (I think that's the way you spell it).

Yup...a true waste of precious resources, in this case, water. Now, chocolate jello???

i can't imagine the taste. if we eat bacon we like it crisp , but to make it drink flavored ?ooohhhh nooooo! too much additives would make us more sick. i mean bacon is not even in the list of good diet and making it a soda is totally not a good one either. good day.

That does not sound good to me. I don't think I would like that. I know I wouldn't buy it. Someone would have to buy it for me if I were to ever try it. That just sounds gross to me.

All I can say is EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW...!!!! I love my bacon but in SODA? Yuck!!!! They need to leave the flavored sodas to the experts who make them.

I guess Jones Soda is an expert on the unusual sodas. But yeah, that one probably should have been left alone.

Hi. laglen. I could not imagine eating something like this. It sounds really nasty. I only want to taste bacon on bacon. Not in a soda. I hope that this product does not reach the stores. I am concerned about the sugar and sodium content of this product.

That's the worst idea since I came across guacamole flavored jelly beans. And unlike those awful things, I won't be trying bacon flavored soda. I learned my lesson after I was wrong in telling myself that guacamole jelly beans couldn't be that bad.

I will have to ask what hubby thinks.. because he is the one who loves bacon.. but I'm guessing he'd think it's unappetizing as well. Me.. I don't like bacon that much to begin with. I rarely eat it.

That does not even sound good. Sorry...I probly won't be able to bring myself to even try it. Very strange. Someone had too much time on their hands to think this one up. But then I have heard someone is making peanut butter and jelly flavored soda too. I have not seen that one yet but it was on the news a while back. I don't see myself trying that one either.

nah I am more traditional. Soda should taste like soda, save the flavoring for food!

They were talking about this Bacon Soda on my favorite radio station a few weeks ago! My immediate reaction - was EWWW! That's gross! But when I heard it was Jones Soda that was making it, I wasn't at all surprised. I've seen quite the interesting flavors they put out. One Halloween I bought candy corn soda and it was soooo gross, lol. I honestly don't think I could drink Bacon soda. It just sounds yucky! I may have to get some for my husband's stocking this Christmas though as a gag gift. Last year I got him Bacon floss! haha (He loves Bacon!) I'll have to see if I can find it at our local grocery store or maybe Walmart or Target will have it!

No, not for me. I just like bacon bacon. Or maybe bacon and eggs or a BLT. And that's "all she wrote".

A friend of mine just threw away his last year's Christmas present of bacon soda. Down the drain it went! I still stand on bacon with bacon, even brown-sugared, or as a breakfast meat with eggs, pancakes, french toast, etc. or on BLT's, grilled cheese, pizzas. OK, maybe as a wrapper with shrimp or scallops and pasta carbonara. But, too much "avant garde" stuff doesn't work for me.

Just the "thought"of drinking this product is enough to make me cringe.i'm wondering just how popular this drink is and why it was even produced in the first place. I'll take my bacon the way i always have, on the side of my plate with eggs.

Yep,I was going to the "Baking Soda" place too when I read this..but,for Real, there's a BACON soda? I can't get past the concept of a salty soda drink..I've only ever tried sweet or fruit flavoured ones before, and Never a salty carbonated one...even the "Clamato" thing is outside of my comfort zone! Ah well, there's something for everyone on the market!
