Ever buy something online that looked nicer when you got it than the picture?

I remember when QVC first got started on tv. My Mom bought some jewelry and it was not as nice as it was pictured. But I just got a blue healing Buddah pendant from Etsy's Queenbeed and it looks better than pictured.
So did you ever have nicer or worse than pictured items show up at your house?

Sad to say, yes. The pictures online are so enticing that one can't resist from buying them. However, when the items personally reached you, you'll end up dismayed since they just look better on pictures. I bought a dress and a blouse and when these have reached me, they are not worth the money I paid. The clothing is of low quality of which couldn't be scrutinized well on the monitor. Hence, it is much better to go on shopping on botiques or in malls and not on virtual stores.

It seems to be that way. Either the item looks worse than pictured or nicer than pictured. The jewelry was very cheap compared to what it looked like on QVC. But the little Buddah I just bought, was better than pictured.
I'm sorry the dress looked so cheap. Thanks and take care

There are times when I list things on ebay and for some reason the color is off on my camera and it doesnt show the true colors of something. I write that in the description so they will know. I dont recall if I have ever gotten something that was nicer then what I thought it was going to be though. I dont really ever buy anything used online thats probably why.
