What's Your Objective in Putting on Make Ups

As a kid I would enjoy watching my mom putting on just a powder and a tint of lipstick on her face. She goes to a professional for a full make up and that happens only when she has to attend a special function or occasion. I'm fascinated with the colors of the make ups and how they enhance a person's beauty. Now that I'm a mom, I became more fascinated with it although I don't often use this on myself. However, when i do, I try to use the make up to enhance one feature of my face and that is my eyes only.

My intention is to enhance my eyes, like you do, although I do wear foundation as I suffer from spots. Have done for years and I'm now in my 40s! I've also come to realise that "less is more" as make-up could be a bit over-the-top in the 80s. Having said that, though, everyone slapped it on in those days - even the guys lol.

Hahahaha! Yeah, I remember the 80s. The intention then was to layer the colors and plenty at that.

I remember pink and lilac eye-shadows and very bright blusher..and pink or purple lipsticks. Nice!

I also like putting on make-up. I got used to it when I was finishing my degree, during my training. The nature of our job somehow requires wearing light make-up. I don't like putting heavy make-up though. I just try to put a light tone or shade for casual activities or events. I still want to look simple but at the same time more pleasant. I think there's nothing wrong with it, we just want to enhance our features or face. I don't put make-up to attract more attention or flirt with someone or something like these. There are times I really need its help like when I lack sleep and I have dark circle around my eyes and I look a bit pale, I put some concealer and a light blush on or when my lips are really dry, I use colored lip gloss instead of the colorless one since it has the same effect anyway. During special occasions or events, that's the only time I put make-up a bit darker than what I'm used to. Sometimes I go to a salon for make-up services if it's really a special event. I still make sure it's not overdone and it fits on the occasion so it will serve its purpose of making me look more pleasant or lovely and not trashy or overly dramatic. Although I like putting on make-up, I'm not the kind of person who really relies on it or who couldn't go out without wearing any make-up because there are times I still do. I still appreciate my untouched or clear face or beauty and that is what's more important. =)

I wear make-up often it is simply something I have been accustomed to doing. However I do not wake up and immediately run for the rouge. I do go without for days, it simply depends on where I am going and what the occasion is. However when I worked I wore it daily. Simply to enhance and feel good about my appearance for me that is.

I don't like putting on make up. I just feel comfortable not wearing any. I just use loose powder on my face to diminish the oil. When I started working in an office, though it does not require us to put on some make up, I was forced to do so. Many people are telling tme I look pale and it's not good to look sick. They suggested me to put a little color on my face. When I did, all of them commented on my make up. They thought I was wearing full make up when in fact I had a little blush on, a light lipstick and some color in my eyebrows. That's actually the reason why I hate wearing make ups! I look strangely different. I hate getting noticed but most of them give me positive comments. Later on, I can't go to the office without wearing make up. [em]

Putting on make ups is one way of improving your personality. You will notice that most people use make up to make them more attractive and beautiful. Using make up is not bad but you have to see to it that it is not being overused or it see to it it that the make up you are using makes you beautiful.

Well..i put makeups in my face because in our school and my current course that I am taking, we are required to put some light makeup. I also put make-up when I am going out to look more vibrant because I have a pale skin.
