I have absolutely no idea why there are supposed mothers that do this kind of thing with their newborn babies. I know that with my children I was smitten before they were born, there was no way that I would have been able to give them up from the first time that I saw the blue line on a pregnancy test. I recently heard a story of a women who thought she'd heard a baby crying in a dumpster and asked a man to get it out. Well, the man got the baby out and it turns out that it was the child of his girlfriend and himself. He is trying to get full custody of the baby.

Your sister-in-law must have been shocked to find an abandoned newborn baby girl in a pump boat. It was so lucky that she found her so that she may now have loving care. I hope that that she will be allowed to adopt the baby girl. In my home country in such a situation would be rare. Still if it did happen I would try to make sure that the bay would get excellent care.
